The triangular banners are danglymesh and were taken from the Bioware 'City Exterior' tileset (Cloaktower model). The square banners are standard trimesh and were taken from the JXP_Placeables collection here on the vault. Thanks Bioware and JXP for the great models!
I modified the danglmesh models to be less 'springy' and have a bit more inertia similar to heavy tapestry. I added the support beam to the square banner model to give it some sort of attachment point to walls. The textures are from various places on the web - THANKS GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH! :)
The models have walkmeshes but no emitters. What this means is that if these banners are made useable, and the PC bashes the object, there is *NO* death animation. The banner simply fades away. Ideally these should be eye candy for your areas and be placed at a height not accesible to the PC even if they are made useable (for reading, etc.)
The placeables.2da supplied is padded past the HOTU and CEP reserved entries. The placeable items are numbers 4250 thru 4305. If you use a different placeable.2da base, then just copy these lines and the wildcard padding line above entry 4250 into the end of your placeables.2da.
I have also supplied an erf in the zip file to allow easy import into your module. The erf will place entries into the Custom->Placeables->Penants&Signs category.
Portraits are also included for all the banners. The portraits.2da file has entries 3600 thru 3655.
P.S. Please note that HOTU and CEP *ARE NOT* required for this hakpack to function. The hak contains placeables that will work with any combination of NWN, SOU, HOTU, and CEP.
Happy Building!
