Used a higher res .plt, and added a few fixes/changes.
Teeth can now be colored (hair)
Gums and eyes are tatoos 1 and 2
The standard creature can now have a better look using both metal colors.
You need Monferrat's hak at http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=hakpaks.Detail&id=5889
Just put these .plt's into his hak, or drop them into your own if you have them in another hak already. Overwrite what's already there.
It's your second head model that's the problem. If I change the names on your .plt's the 2nd head model's plt colors up fine, but any plt on the 2nd head model won't no matter what I do.
Looking at the model in max it's the same red color as in the editor. There's a problem with the model itself.

right -- that's why I'm replacing it. the new mdl, doesn't skew red, but the plt is a bit off from the rest of the model. a bit darker, I can't seem to correct w/out losing all detail on the plt

It sure does. Thanks very much for doing this -- I hate plts. Don't suppose I can sweet talk you into looking at the dynamic mindflayer model? I'm going to add a second head to it next week, but the plt there is a little off from the rest.
