The problem is that the 1.66 patch updated human female head models as well as a file called pfh0.mdl which sets the parameters for building a human female character model. JenX2.hak includes a modified version of pfh0.mdl which uses the old parameters, so using the new heads with the old JenX 2.3 produces a conflict where the character loses her neck.
The instructions provided will walk you through how to make the fix. It is in no way an official fix to JenX 2.3 and if the original author (who could not be reached by this user) provides an official fix it takes precedence over this.
Now included are modified heads for JenX2. The hakpack itself should take care of any head problems you might see, but extracting the files from the "1.66 compliant heads" folder into your override directory is advised if you used JenX2 override heads previously.

Oh, I forgot one other thing. Either way, you'd still need to delete the pfh0 that comes with jenX, since that will still cause problems.

Good work, but you don't need to have the new pfh0.mdl file included in the hak. The fixed heads are enough; adding the new pfh0 will cause problems if you use any heads outside of jenX. But since your new heads now reference the correct pfh0, there's no need for it. One or the other would fix it; I would suggest that if you're only using the jenX heads (without any other haks or modifications), you only need to add the pfh0 file. But if you're using other headpacks, use the fixed heads to prevent the pfh0 from messing with the other heads.

the instructions are IN the rar. they are very detailed. if you need a short version it is this:
open jenx2.hak in the nwn hak editor.
add the pfh0.mdl file and all the files in the "1.66 compliant heads" folder to the hak. (you dont need to remove the existing files first, you can just hold down the "Y" key to overwrite them all.)
save the hak.
oh, and put the heads from the 1.66 folder into your override directory -- overwrite any existing files there.
thank you ares! this was driving me nuts.

Yeah, i was wondering if i need to download this to get the cep.tlk file? cause whenever i try to get onto a game, it says i need that. Thanks.
I should also add that the JenX2 heads themselves still have buggy epic monk eyes (the others do not). I could theoretically fix those but it's really beyond my capabilities. It'll have to wait for an official JenX2 heads patch.
I think the female head models in patch 1.66 look bad. What happen to the neck? _________________________ Yes I am made out of rocks. Now go do something.
There was a bit of a glitch with JenX2 heads and the modification. The new file fixes that and provides alternative override heads for JenX2 users. Hakpack itself should follow shortly for those who don't like DIY projects.
