I really like, and was wondering if you've ever read the series 'A song of Ice and Fire'? Mainly because if so it would be awesome to see the house symbols done up on sheilds. If you haven't read it maybe you could drop me a line in too how to make sheilds :) thanks

Really nice ! good work. I will use it for my Templar and Paladins in my mod. But, perhaps I would prefer it without metalic reflect.
(excuse my poor english...)

Hey, is there any way you could make a round tower sheild?
Posted by William Murphy ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-05-06 00:57:00
Anyone attempted to make a large round shield out of Dragonscales? the Dragonshield provided by Bioware is sorely lacking. I would guess it would be considered a tower or body shield sinc it length measures from your shoulder to your knees. im guessing 3 1/2 feet? Kinda like that one from that old Dragonslayer Movie.

maybe you can add a shield that has a picture of 2 swords crossed like an X hehe just a suggestion

(what it seems to be doing is using the Darksteel
Towersheild aura on the Regular Tower Sheild)
For a quick resolve:
Make another Towersheild and use one of the other two gold
colored appearances: iashto_13 or iashto_12. (using
iashto_11 will just give you the magic aura again)
Remember the Blueprint Res Ref (copy it) of this
new 'Normal' sheild.
go into the Script editor and edit the NW_O2_CONINCLUDE
script. find all references to: nw_ashto001 and change it
to the new Res Ref.
This should stop the random treasure generator from
generating the 'Magic aura Tower Sheild' and instead it
should generate the newer Tower Sheild without the magic
aura properties, if it is called apon to be generated as
part of a random treasure.
Now, if a player shows up with a regular tower sheild from
another game, you will still have the problem of the sheild
having the magic aura... you will still have to replace
these with your new custom replacement sheild (unless you
really want them to run around with the funky aura).
Just a temp fix until... (perhaps the last patch knocked
something out of wack?)

Awesome shields.
One problem occured...
The original (non-Custom) Tower shield now glows with a
magical-type aura
(this is in a clean module with just the shield hak)
This means anyone entering the module with a Tower shield
has a funky glowing sheild... how do I revert the original
shield back to normal?
anyone else encounter this?

Armor -> Tower Shields -> Edit Properties of one you
create, change appearance, scroll down near the bottom and
you will see these.

these are perfect for my 12th century campaign server, but I
don't know how to get at them. I can get all the files into
my hakpak, but I can't find where the shield models are in
the Aurora Toolset. Can anyone help here?
Thanks,
Rodney

I love the way they look, but I am having trouble
incorporating them into my MOD. How would I go about doing
this?

Great job on those sheilds, they add a lot to the game.
Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more.
