I just started modeling and this is my first shot at creating a tileset. The title is fairly self-explanatory; this hak represents a cloud city. All the water terrain has been converted into dark pit terrain. Eventually, I hope to work out a few graphical glitches, add fantasy air ships (balloon boats, flying machines, etc) in place of where the boats were, and remodel and retexture the buildings to make the city look more magical. Like I said this is my first time using NWmax and I would greatly appreciate any help/feedback more experienced modelers can offer. If you decide to modify or make your own cloud city please drop me a line (Dash Handsome on the bioware forums) because I made this for a module Im working on and have no qualms about using someone elses work if its better than mine. Enjoy.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on a module and this is exactly what I've been looking for! It's really helping make my city look more like what it should, according to my story. You've done some great work here, especially for a first tileset.
I'd love to see this expanded and worked on more on the future, with original buildings and such! I'd offer to help, but unfortunately I have all the modeling skill of a dead ferret.
I wanted to check out the mod you gave in the download but it would seem that my toolset is condeming me for not having "LisasclothesHOU" hak. ;D Other than that, great tileset. :D aka "Miri Rawnie"

I wonder if there is an easy way to add both white and dark pits to the tileset so people with space/night time floating cities in mind can use them along with the others.
I will look into it.

I have to go with Tongmei. Even before seeing his post i had to felt that the grey pit didnt wuite give the effect of a city in the clouds. You should consider puffy clouds supporting the city with sky blue beneath it to add to the effect that this is a city in the clouds. I'm not a modeler myself so i dont know how much work i'm asking you to do. But i will be following the development of this tileset and will most likely download it when finished. Good Job so far.

Wow thanks for all the positive feedback. In my next update I hope to make the pits a bit deeper, and test it with some of the ground fog placeable effects I've seen here on the vault. Additionally I do not believe the pit is actually black but a dark grey thus resulting in some graphical lighting errors, so I will see if replacing it with the forest pit texture helps.
Thanks for all the encouragement guys, it really feeds the new modeler's desire to keep creating.
