| This is the (somewhat) final version of my Cloud City tileset. I have removed all water tiles and replaced them with bottomless tiles. The tileset continues to have some minor problems with shadowing so I recommend turning shadows off under the area visual settings. Additionally, the new tiles look better with lower fog distances. The screenshot above was taken at 100m however I think the tileset functions ideally at about half that distance. Issues to be completed at some point other than soon: Loadscreens, Animations, and perhaps the complete removal of trimesh shadows. Finally, I have an open question to anyone interested the Cloud City tileset: Would you rather the edge tiles drop forever limited only by fog distance (like they do now) or come to a definitive end? I am of two minds on the issue. |
