This is the REQUIRED hak-file and the four OPTIONAL Music Packs for the horror module Surviving Horror 2.
The hak contains the necessarily files needed to be able to play Surviving Horror 2 apart from the CEP (Community Expansion Pack). I take no credit for any of these files so please take a look at the readme that comes with this file for the credit list.
THE HAK PACK IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PLAY BUT IT IS ALSO REALLY RECOMMENDED TO DOWNLOAD THE MUSIC TRACKS, SINCE THEY'LL MAKE ABOUT HALF OF THE GAMING EXPERIENCE!
The exe-files will install the files automatically.

I've recently added romantic animations and new portraits to the hak-file for module-version 2.5, so if you are planning on playing the 2.5 version of the module, you'll have to download the hak-pack AGAIN. :)

HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE TLK-FILE FOR CEP 1.X? It should be included with the cep-download but if not then it can now also be DOWNLOADED FROM BELOW! Simply download it and place it in your NWN/tlk directory.

Sorry for the double post, but I just saw that Berra retired from developing and probably doesn't come here anymore.Does anyone know how long this takes or can post the actual hak/music files without the executable?
Berra, Surviving Horror was a great and dark module and I'd play the second one if I could. However, I'm having a problem with auto-installer you use for your hak/music. The window asking me to if I want it to install the files. I click on 'Yes' and then, nothing. I've been waiting for ten minutes for each of these and I looked in the file directory and the files aren't there. Is there anyway that you can make the files so that people can install them manually? If you can't, that's fine. But, can you at least tell me how long it takes for at least one of these to get finished? Thanks.
I regards of the essentials hak pack, some of us already have ninjaweasels animations.
Is it possible to post a version of hack that does not include the romatic animations as some of us live in the back of beyond and dont have broadband at the moment, work related travel!
Just a suggestion! Even that small file is taking over an hour to download!Sort of want to play it like yesterday and not at Xmas when I will be home and otherwise distracted groan!!!!

This is a fantastic RP, I can truly say after having completed both of them. Scary, spooky, suprising; good RP in excellent balacence with action. I say to you all, this is one of the best I've ever seen of modules. And the music is just...perfect.

It is a great module, it can not be doubted. If I should rate the Atmosphere only, I would have to give 200% :-)
Still, I believe there is a lot of space for improving some aspects.
But let me mention good aspects first - I loved the atmosphere, characters, story, music, visuals. Boss fights were pretty good in my opinion as well as relationship system and henchman specific items.
So what do I think that could be better? Some fights with common enemies were bit boring, my character was invulnerable several times without any reason which quite spoiled the atmosphere. Also shopping is strange. Items offered are mostly useless (except of potions and few other pieces) and the offer does not improve. There were no bolts (not even normal ones) for Frogrin - or maybe the items in the shop are generated randomly when first visited?
What is worse, I was not able to force Frogrin to cast any offensive spell at all, but maybe I missed something. Still, it was quite a nuisance because he was clear wizard since the beginning and so pretty useless for me :-)
But my greatest disappointment by far was absence of any possibility to use skills. I developed my Lore and Persuasion, but to no effect. And I believe that other skills are useless as well. Maybe it was done by purpose, but I missed this this possibility a lot. :-(
However, it is superb modul and I enjoyed this greatly even if I had few complaints :-))
I am also looking forward to more modules from Berra :-)
