Limited as to structures, but the colors and assorted foliages are exceptionally nice. Some expansion is necessary to compete with other swamp sets (notanly WOrms) but a really nice start.
This is really beautiful, I'm lookig forward to using it... any idea on the release date ?

This is a beautiful tile set! ...and quite small as well. Would like to see a few more groups added; a small temple or two, a tower or two. Looking forward with much anticipation to the update.

Lack of feedback, is sad, but is normal (not normal for me anyway), i am used to it.
And this is for some of you here to.
I know how mutch important is to recognize and vote for a work,
it´s a whay to stimulate an autor, and to thank is work, even if whe dont use it,
please Rosenkraz dont stop making things just because whe have a selfish and stupid (comunity ?),
thath doesnt work,
thath can´t simpli vote or say thanks.
I love your swamp, its a real swamp, and works perfect, and if you dont like people,
just kill your self !
I´m using it on my monster building system,
(2 dvd´s system, yes its uge but it works perfect,
its like making fotos, whith so many things, activated at the same time,
49 tilesets, 5000 placeables , 1500 creatures and no lags)
A few time ago i was almost giving up, making content for the vault,
but i love this game so mutch, thath i cant stop doing it,
and just for a few people is whorty.
Hope this helps you.
Cheers!

I am afraid I am not able to include a hardware upgrade to the computers that are going to use this hak. Yet.
The resolution and all other settings are in line with Bioware standard, if your machine lags with this set, then it lags even with standard tilesets, assumed you are using the same visual settings.
My graphic card is definitelly below average, and I don't experience any sort of client-side lag issues due to the visuals of this set. I suggest a check on your drivers or settings.

Looks great but playes like crap, i had to switch to fast grass, the grass looks great but you have way too much and it lags down the game, You did a good job and I hope you (CTP) do add these swamp tiles to a forest
PS - Screen shots look better when you edit them side by side with the old version & it be kinda nice to see more mud/dirt tiles or hills - Shioni
The deep water near the couple of boulders were intended to be a non-walkable terrain by the original author, and I kept them in the tileset because I believe all tilesets should have non-walkable terrains, as they address a specific need in building an area. For example the deep water can be used to represent a river that slowly crosses the marshes, allowing a more complex design of the area.
Regarding all other details you noticed, I totally agree, and I am aware that they would need fixing, to improve the overall quality of the tileset. I don't make promises, but if in the next days I'll find a couple of hours to spare, I could at least get rid of the gaps (all faulty mdls are already buggy in the original tileset, and I didn't get the chance to take care of them yet), and replace a couple of textures to get them more in line with the general settings of the areas.
In any case, the debugging wouldn't corrupt any area already built with the tileset, as a new version would be totally backward compatible.

I went in the Demo Mod and took a long walk about, or perhaps I should say I waded *grins* I liked the really tall grass, I especially like the colour used. It certainly has a very swampy feel to it and I found fault with only a few things...none of which I think are your doing, but rather the original authors work.
The house in the swamp, the underside of the roof/porch has gaps so that you can see through to the blue sky above. The same for inside the empty doorway, you can see right through to the other side and the sky.
On the porch also just under the outside edge, there are a mix of green & autumn leaves hanging along the edge. They sort of float really depending on camera angle, and to be honest, I fail to see why they would be there since they look rather out of place. The roof itself I would give a more weathered look, it looks a tad too new compared to the rest of the building.
There is an area to the east that goes out towards the middle of the map where there are a bunch of large boulders and the water is extremely deep. This whole area is not walkable, I sort of found that to be a waste of building space really...although pretty to look at.
I liked the murky slimy colours used though, and the lights on the walkways at night are beautiful and really set the atmosphere wonderfully at night. All in all, a really good swamp (although I would never make a player have to walk in the rain...but then I am from the UK where it is always raining and so have an inbuilt dislike for the stuff :P ) Certainly one of the best swamps I have been in, and if the CTP do decide to use this, then the gaps in the building will definitely be fixed, so no worries there!

Still there are a few things:
-For the woodenplanks that run through the marsh, perhaps use an alpha texture to visualize missing or half broken/rotten planks, right now they have been put there last week. Perhaps add a more mossy/algy look to it.
-Perhaps a better edge for the swramp, right now it looks like a waste land beyond the area.
-A few tiles/groups for more murky water where it looks like you walk through duckweed and other waterplants
-The house in the swamp has a bit of an odd tilefade, the edge of the roof remains visible. Not that annoying.

I totally agree with you, and I could add that there are a few more issues that maybe isn't easy to notice at a first glance.
This set is surely not perfect, and doesn't offer enough variety in the building options to satisfy any module builder who needs to create a swamp environment. In fact, the set has been specifically (and quickly) designed for the PW I am working on.
I could invest the needed time into debugging it and further expanding/reworking it, but I won't. I have recently joined the CTP team, and all the time I'll be able to dedicate to tileset fixing will be spent into delivering to the end users the CTP tilesets, which will offer top quality tilesets so rich of building features and options to meet the needs of -any- builder out there. I am convinced that the community will benefit more from a faster release of the CTP package than from a debugged version of this swamp tileset.

*picks a few leeches from his legs*
It does look great in the demo-module it does indeed feel swampy. I didnt try building with it yet.

but other than that, it looks very good.
Keep up the good work!
