BTH Forest V1b2: This is a non-replacing Forest combo tileset based on Kelsys of Greenshore's Full Forest with models from Kert Wettian's Forest/Rural tileset.
The tileset was developed for a PW project I am involved in and many of the models have been retextured from the originals. The water/cliff models have been corrected along with all the edge tiles. There is also an extensive number of ruin models included in this tileset.
Refer to the screenshots for a quick preview.
Correctly textured mini-maps and original loadscreens are included.
Look for the readme text file included in the ZIP for hints on some of the terrain.
Credit to the creators of the tilesets, models & terrain I have used to create BTH_Forest: Kelsys of Greenshore, Jackal_GB, LOK, Kert Wettian, Zeon, Chandigar, TB & Acropole.

Barry, this is a great tileset, so much more "foresty" than the the more standard "brown" fare.
I have discovered on rather disturbing bug. in the groups section there is listed a "forest Barracks" clicking on this will Imediatly crashthe toolset with a "Index out of bounds" error. Is this a know bug? does anyone else experience it?

This is lovely. I like the option for evergreens. I wish it had hobbit hills, though.

Thanks for that confirmation Jackal. I've added Acropole to the credits. We use a modified version of your Forest Hills tileset in a PW I'm involved with and your work is certainly appreciated.
The platform tiles are by Acropole from his "Foret des Ombres" set. Please add a credit for him. (Over 90% of Kelsys of Greenshore's Forest hak was compiled,edited and/or created(minimaps) by me as "Forest Hills Plus".) Kelsys basically added a few bridges and some of Kert Wettian's hills w/trees tiles and released it as his own. He also buggered up a few things in the process, unfortuntely. I credited all the material used in the Forest Hills Plus hak in the hak's readme So should some tiles be of interest and origin unknown, check my FH+ hak.

Knowing the work that has gone into this the score deserves it.

For some reason, none of the bridges seem to work for me? I can get them to show up in the middle of the water, but only one of them will connect to land, and only over river water, not rural water. I tested it a few times before posting just in case it was me being stupid but it seems to be the tiles that aren't working right and not (thankfully) my head.
If this could be fixed, the tileset is awesome, but the bridges are rather less bridgy when they don't actually go anywhere :)
Having worked with or spoken to a LOT of the CC guys who make tiles. Credit is important and effort should always be made to give the original authors thier due. Lots of well meaning custom content compilers have gone down in flames for missing that note.
Nice looking sets! I saw that you created a swamp version as well. It's good to see others continue to integrate and build better sets. It can be a daunting task what to choose and what to exclude. Not to mention figure out who's work you have just added.

@Endoora
I reworked the Full Forest Base V1 tileset submitted by Kelsys of Greenshore. The platform models were part of that tileset and I do not know who the original creator of the models is.
The ruins are a mixture of re-textured Bioware models (some are possibly by little Baron & Pogo Mudder)The ruin wall crossers that paint up against raised ground are re-textured imports from Kert Wettian's Full Forest Rural tileset.
This was the first tileset I had a crack at. I started it a while ago and have only just got around to submitting it. I must admit the months in between and the other tilesets I've been working on have helped dull my memory of the origins of some of the content. Feel free to message me if I've missed anybody off the credits. Email: [email protected]
@Mondego
Certainly not, just plain curious. Thats all.
