This hak offers new animations for players . It allows you to crawl like a soldier. The purpose is to increase infiltration phases, especially in multi player games.
It was designed for moder/futurist modules, but work fine for ather as well, especially crawling with a shield !
You need both expansions AND The 1.67 patch.
Thanks to the work and kindness of one of the member of this community, i.e. Andarian, I am glad to add on the vault a new version of this hak :
- A new animation that allow your character to make push-ups.
- A modification of the standard animation "Sitting on the ground" replaced by a "Sleeping on the ground" animation.
- A modification of the "Sitting on a chair" animation replaced by a "Sleeping on Stacy's futuristic medical bed" animation or a "Waiting to be sacrificed on a Drow Altar" animation as you can see in the new Demo.
- The phenotype now use the slot number 20, making it compatible with CEP 2.1 and 1.69 patch.
A great thanks to Andarian !!
In this file you have the hak, the tlk, a demo module, and a erf for easy importation. Enjoy !
Dans ce fichier vous avez le hak, le tlk, une petite dmo et un fichier erf pour l'importation.

Enjoying so much this futuristic NWN and, the cherry on the cake, crawling into it makes it even better. Even swimming, I suppose is part of that greatest hak.

Izk: did you see the cloak issue that I posted about when you updated to use phenotype 20? This is one issue that's causing me a lot of grief, and I'm not sure how to get around it or even what's causing it. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. One more thing... Is it okay to use any of this in my own module-specific hak, with full credit, of course? I'm currently using this only for human-sized NPCs and creatures, and I'm also trying to keep the number of haks down.

I hadn't seen this update. Fantastic! By a strange coincidence, I too had migrated these to pheno 20 for my own module-specific hak. Sorry I didn't share. Too busy. I'm looking forward to trying out the new animations.

Hi Goudea,
Anything on the phenotype issue with the cloaks yet? I'm getting ready to finalize the latest update to my modules and was hoping I might be able to resolve this before releasing them. Thanks!

Hey Goudea,
I'm testing the new hak now, and I'm running into a minor issue. When I switch characters that have cloaks equipped into and out of the new phenotype, the cloaks aren't being restored visually when they return to the original one. (Of course, they're not displayed while they're crawling, which is fine.) They did reappear with the previous version of the hak, though. Is this something that could be related to the changes to include the new animations, or perhaps something that was unique to the old phenotype number (5)?

Thanks for the kind words, Goudea! I didn't do that much, though, just updated the crawling models and 2da to use phenotype 20. You did all the hard work. And thanks for the new animations! I've already got the sleeping one implemented in the resting script in my modules. :)

If you raised the height of the crawl, you *could* fake swimming without creating a whole nother set of animations from scratch. Just a thought. This is excellent work!

Hello !
Sorry for the .ace !
I thought it was as common as .rar or .zip !
Uncompress the files with winace.exe
Very easy to find with google.
Thank you !
No offense, but what the heck is the .ACE file extension?!? If it's like .ZIP or .RAR, what do we use to extract it? If you need it, I can send you a decent ZIP prog!

yeah, after testing this seems definitely great work, the concept should be extended to other anims too...

Well, that was a fun little module. Hehe, water arrows
But yes, very fun. If you're ever feeling like making something else like this, swimming animations would be appriciated, after good ol' 1.67's underwater stuff
