Hi, it's my birthday today or I wouldn't post this shameless plea for free stuff. I searched the forums and the vault for a monkey custom creature. The closest I came was a carnivorous ape. Those are cool, but I'd really like a monkey instead. Does anyone know of any custom monkies out there?
If they're easy to whip up, all I need them to do is look like monkies and be able to wield a sling. Tails would be cool, but unnecessary.
If no one has any available, I'll just use the apes. Thanks!
So I just fubled together a chimpanzee that evening and the next morning.
The little rascal is all but perfect. He's basically a goblin, rescinned, slightly remodeled and ... umh ... reanimated...
There are many "cosmetical" bugs left - he has his feet in the air in much poses, sinks into the earth on death and things like such. It's hardly visible ingame, however. The model and texture is also far from what I like to see as my standard.
But this was the best I could do in the short time.
He works with all versions, is not CEP compatible (I'm not just the CEP man anyways), but it would be easy to make him so.
I included a mod, mainly because I was to lazy to mess around with erf files.
Perhaps I will update him some day or even do more apes, but it's not on my short list for now.
OK, updated. I uploaded a picture and used the opportunity to include some minor improvements on the model.
