A compilation of music, chosen from the very best of the Ultima games. This set was the work of many hands and has been a true labor of love for my small group of Ultima fans who discovered Horace's Ultima Music Pack for Nwn what seems an age ago and decided to add more to it.
Likely, it is the most complete set of
Ultima music ever released to the Vault.
Perfect for anyone doing a remake of an
Ultima game, for Neverwinter Nights! ;)

* Although Ultima 10: Odyssey had been cancelled, the music was made available for free download, on the UXO Stratics website, which is where we found it. We have inlcuded it in this great set, so that fans can enjoy the music from this true "Lost Ultima", alongside the rest.
Due to popular demand, we have put up a CMP-compatible version of the Hak Pak for this set, so that you can have the magnificent music of CMP as well as the glorious music of the Ultima series in your modules and worlds. - Enjoy! :)
Update - Tons of content! All music from two UO expansions has been added, as of version 2.0 which is going to be the final version of this music pack.
Update - Now the Ultimate Ultima Music Pack features two Hak Paks which make it compatible with Nwn v1.69 as well as the latest 1.69-compatible version of the CMP. Get whichever one you need. :)
There was music in Pagan? Really? You mean, aside from that annoying flute jingle that kept playing over and over? And aside from the over-the-top title track, which was basically a piano scale?

Ultima was always my favorite series of RPGs; me and my friends used to see who could become an Avatar in Ultima 4 the fastest... it was a lot of fun. I still play those old games, including Akalabeth, and was one of the few who actually liked Ascension despite it's bugs and glitches. I played on Ultima Online for a couple of years too, and had a lot of crazy times there which I'll always remember. I've played all of the Ultima remakes so far released for Nwn, and I am currently working on one of my own as well, which I'll put up on the Vault when it's finised. On that note, it's time for me to say bye for now, and select "Journey Onward"!

This takes me back to the days when games were as mental as graphical. Ultima IV was my introduction to Sosaria/Britannia and the entire mythos surrounding it has spawned 2 D&D campaigns and alot of memories. Sad to see the series die off so ignomiously, but people seem to keep things alive that should have never been killed in the name of the almighty Focus Group and Dollar.
I've just posted a version of the Hak Pak that is CMP-compatible, so yes now this compilation can be used with CMP. Just be sure to download the new Hak Pak! Also, yes, all music packs work with the CEPv2.0 since the CEP doesn't have any music files to overwrite. :) If you use this and like it, be sure to vote for it, as that helps custom content makers to know how welll they are doing. ;) - Farewell for now!
