This hak contains a pair of animated dragonfly wings that can be added to PCs. These work very well for creating specific monsters such as a sylph or some sort of fairy-like character.

Thos would be perfect for my module! The prelude chapter of my upcoming module series is set in a forest of Forgotten Realms (Haven't decided which one yet =P) and there will be lots of little side quest/mini-game type things, and lots of little Fey creatures running around. Could you please post some Fairy wings, anymore insect wings you have, and those variations ofthe butterfly wings for me? Or anything else that could be used for Forest Fey creatures? If you could it would be a wonderful help =D

If your thinking about transparency for Tinkerbell wings, I would suggest something metallic. I've mentioned this before in previous posts that the metals for vfxs sometimes have transparency issues but in this case, it would be a boon for you since it's exactly what you are looking for.
For a visual example, I would suggest taking a good look at Saju's dragon wing hak (currently in CEP) and looking at the silver dragon wings.
Note: In no why am I attempting to degrade someone else's work, especially since I make good use of those wings. I'm simply pointing out that what could be considered a flaw by some may benefit someone else into creating something spectacular. ;)
Looking forward to more of your work!
Cheers,

Actualy I happen to have several diferent colors of the pixie wings that you see on the Bioware pixie model (ie. animated emitter based) but mine work for PCs. Also I have numerous variations on the butterfly wings and am working on making actual Tinker Bell style wings that are translucent yet substantial enough to be easily seen. The only dificulty with them has been finding the right skin to cause such a state. I can't duplicate the shiny overtone of OC skins so trying to create such an effect has proven somewhat dificult.

I'd love to see what you can do with fairy wings. I am working on a module where the character can turn into a fairy. Upon entering certain areas (i.e., fairy areas), I'd like to switch from the fairy model to a halfling model with fairy wings.
The dragon fly wings could work in a pinch (and I may offer them as a choice along with butterfly wings), but more traditional fairy wings would be better.
Update! I was messing around with my dragonkin wing models yesterday, in order to break some of the monotony and to buy some time to think about how to go about animating another model, when I stumbled upon a way to achieve vanishing wings through animation. It is not easy but from what I've experimented with thus far it seems that it is definately going to work. The first try might be a little unsteady but I believe that I can pull it off.
Ah well the disappearing and reappearing wings have yet to be achieved with simply animating. However I know for a fact that it can be done using scripts. I myself can write such a script and since you've mentioned it I will do so. Good idea Nissa. The tattered wings are achieved through reskinning and altering the 2da entries to turn off the environmental mapping. This has been done with the Mephistopheles wings already but it is certainly possible with other wings aswell. I will see if I can create some such reskins for my existing wings and include tattered versions of them. I plan to release the entire TRIAD wings and tails section very soon so I'll be sure to include the tattered versions aswell. I'll also write some scripts for the disappearing wings. Thanks for the feedback and the complements. I really appreciate it.

Tattered dragonfly wings. As a matter of fact...tattered versions of just about all the wings, like the butterfly and bat wings. That would really handy! _________________________ Cheers,

These look gorgeous, and I already have an idea on how to use them (for one of my characters). What I'd love to see next are (any kind of, but preferably angel/devil) wings that sort of fold, merging with the back of a character when they are standing still, sitting, sleeping, when they do anything but run or fight (in which case the wings should of course flap). The wings should probably also remain unfolded when the character is knocked out on the floor, or dead.
I am not sure if this can be done with animations, but I thought it was worth asking. To be honest though, anything of the quality of your work would be very welcome in the future.
These are but one of about a hundred + or so more pairs of all new wings that I have created. I have a pair of pit fiend wings for PCs aswell as more types of insects and even a wing/cloak model similar to the ones worn by Myer Link in Vampire Hunter D. What sort of wings would you guys like to see next? I no doubt have them if you can imagine them so feel free to ask. It would be my pleasure to provide them.
These look perfect for making all sorts of fairy/insect themed beings. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)
