Complete re-work on my old version. I've added just one corridor tile to add choice. This hak is fully compatable with my old one and will simply overwrite it if you already have it. A few of your placeables may need moving due to added features on tiles but hopefully not too may. All missing faces and textures from the old tileset are now in place. All tiles now have roofs.
Many thanks to Wintaerhawk for his screenies (My ATI messes them up) and for his help with 3ds.
31/05/10: added replcement texture for rough stone work for those who prefer it. Just overwrite the existing one in the hak.
02/06/10 Reset secondary lighting to black plus a few other small tweaks.

Oh, forgot to mention.... a BIG FAT WOOOWWWSERS to the ceiling too! Love it! Not many NWN 1 tilesets have those. (not since the NWN CQ Project cleverly created by Chico400) I wonder, are you working with Chico at all in his project? I'll bet you could do some really great additions there. NWN 1 became a whole lot cooler since the NWN CQ project sprang to life! I have downloaded and included that work to a few of my rough tryout modules already.
Great going indeed! :-)

WOWSERS!! Absolutely FANTASTICOOOO!! BRILLIANT!!
Love it!! *puts 2 thumbs up!*
I love the interior textures, especially the hyroglyphic wall pictures too! How did you do that
Borden? Most EXCELLENT indeed!!
I can think of a tileset or 2 which has a pyramid as one of its tiles, and this tileset would fit perfectly as the interior! :-)
The only problem I have here, is that I don't really have any experience in knowing any stories of things which include these tileset types.
If anyone out there does, and happens to create a story using these tilesets, I'd be quite happy to download and play later on.
Once again, Fantastic work Borden!
Love it!! :-)

This looks awesome! Great work. I can hear a chorus of favorable grunts from all the NWN mummies I've ever DM-spawned! :)

I checked this out just recently. the tileset looks very nice. coloring is bold but I believe its fairly acurate for egyptian style which is a big + for an old sca guy like me. the art pieces on the floors and added egyptian motifs are excellently done.

Always nice to have someone add to the 'few vs many' interior vs exterior tilesets that have been contributed to the Community over the years. I agree strongly with chaos_theocrat (when have I not?) as to the garish colouration - the Egyptian ancients may well be recognized for sheer gaudiness in decor as one of their many gifts to history! Always half-expected Mattel to come out with a Barbie Pharoh during her salad days.
Also nice to see someone improving on an earlier contribution and not simply posting and forgetting. Hope to see more from you.
@ Dragonessa It was my first attempt at a re-skin. I've learnt quite a bit about it now. I'll have a bash at version 2 for you. (Egyptian tomb art google time I think) ;o) _________________________ Stuff I've done.

Heh, saw the Barbie comment and I just -had- to download it! :-D (Just what is so bad about Barbie anyway? Hmph! :-D) I actually like the color the scheme. The only negative would be the textures aren't 512x512 so they end up blurry in comparison to standard stuff.

This vote is for the tileset itself, not the prefab areas in the five .erf files. First off, I liked the salmon coloring in the tomb... it did seem to have that desert air to it without it being too overpowering a theme. I also liked the Egyptian murals, with their depictions. I would have liked to see more of this theme, possibly even the whole tomb done like this... perhaps that might have been a tad gaudy, but Egyptian tombs often were a very gaudy affair, at least when they were new... before the ravages of time robbed them of much of their orignal glory. All in all, this is a solid tilset that is a useful addition to Nwn and worthy, at least, of a 9.00 for it's fine merits.
Sorry about the Duff Module Peeps. It was built with an un-renamed version of the tileset. I've included one in the rar file so you can view it properly. Both versions of the hak are equally viable for building your own areas. _________________________ Stuff I've done.

I am afraid I have some very bad news. The module hangs every time when it is on the unpacking screen, and the issue is related to a problem I noticed in the toolset as well. Opening level 5 of the tomb to try and take a look at the tileset causes a nasty "list out of bounds" error which prevents the area from loading up. This error is likely carrying over to module load-up and causing the crash. As to what is causing the error, I believe this kind of error is Hak Pak related, although I am not 100% sure. If it is a Hak Pak issue, it could be something wrong in the .Set or .Itp files. The .Itp is in control of what is listed in Palette, so this might be the "list" the error is mentioning. An incorrect entry in the .Itp file would be the culprit if that is the case. Beyond that, I have no idea. I'll hold off on voting or on giving any comments until these issues are fixed. Since I could not view the tileset, I can't make any constructive comments or give an honest vote on it. I hope this gets fixed, as this sounds like it had a lot of promise to it. :(

This tileset sounds awesome! Being a fan of all things historical, I've got to have a look at this. (I'll vote on it once I've given it a good look.) On the subject of folks who did Pyramids, MG Skaggs did an incredible Egyptian Pyramid placeable back in the day! I have it in my Chaos Placeables pack, along with MG Skaggs' Sphinx and all of the Egyptian interior, columns, and pillars placebales by the same author. Anyone who is thinking of creating an Egyptian mod, I would highly recommend downloading Chaos Placeables just for those alone. And... I've included full CEPv2.0 compatibility which is a plus.
As far as the Maztica Pyramid goes... I remember that Maztica pyramid! I've featured it in my Castle, City, Rural and Below (CCR&BEX) v5 tilest package. Lord Sullivan was indeed the maker of it, and it is one of my favorite items for use in various tilesets. Lastly... in my Ancient City of Babylon prefab I made a Mesopotamian Ziggurat for the Tower of Babel / Temple of Baal using the City Exterior. It came out fairly convincing, with some CEP items added to it for just the right atmosphere.
Lord Sullivan DID make a Mayan Pyramid, and I think he did it with the help of Hydromancer. They also made a PW called Maztica, and I believe that the CC they created was Maztican.
Lord Sullivan keeps mentioning he made a pyramid. And Chandigar made Aztec pyramids. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.
