I don't know if I'm the only one, but there are some bioware models I just hate, and this is about the ogre.
So I've gone and made ogres (DLA Style) that replace all the default Bioware Ogres. They all have different skins, and portraits, but they're all based on the DLA Ogre. The Original DLA Ogre is in there as well, but I noticed a mistake on it when making my other ones, and proceeded to fix the small mistake (The inside of its mouth was fleshy skin color instead of a reddish mouth color matching the rest of the inside of the mouth.
They override the original ones, and the Ogre Club is overridden with the DLA ogre club, I replaced the UTI File.
The DLA Ogres are slightly smaller than they should be, and I'm going to resize them once I get the resizing app to work properly instead of crashing all the time.
And when I have time, probably after I put up some of the other stuff I'm working on, I intend to put ranged weapon animations on these things. :P
Tell me what you think!

Available in Override and Hak Form.
A couple people think the Override doesn't work. It does. It uses a modified appearance.2da, so if someone runs a module or plays on a server with its own modified appearance.2da in a hak file, they will not see these ogres. I haven't played nwn since august, so I don't know what the filenames of hte default bioware ogres are. but If you can figure out the filenames, as halfassed version of this mod could work by renaming the ogre models to havethe same filenames as the default bioware ones. They'll show the right models, but the scaling of stuff they hold will be wrong, etc, which is why I made the appearance.2da to begin with. If you want to use it with other haks, you'll have to figure it out unless i come back to nwn, which wont be this month, at least. sorry if you cant make overrides work.

This is excellent. I love this override, it makes ogres look much more bestial and savage, with their brutish traits being more apparent, as well as looking similar to the monster manual appearence. _________________________ @===============================================@
Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.
This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

As he stated, you have to also use the Appearance.2da as well... I don't think that he made these models the same name as the Bioware default ones, which would cause this issue... one could rename these models to override the default models, or have to use a modified Appearance.2da within override or simply include them into a hak file for builders of PW's/modules
yup xtoturnwithinx is right, only the portraits get a override and the models stay the same. Can u please fix this ?

There's an issue with the override version. It seems it only overrides the ogre chieftan, but the others stay the crappy Bioware models. May need to tweak the coding in the overrides.

You're my hero! Been hoping someone would get around to doing this!

Nice work!
I'm holding back from 10 because ultimately the most effort was not yours... but it's still good work on your part.
There are some very good trolls, by the way, actually reworks of the one linked previously, by Diademus. Don't have time to find the link, but just search for Diademus trolls or something and you'll find them.
Anyone who likes them can obviously use them, that's why they're up here, just give me a little line in your credits. :P

On the trolls bit. If the trolls looked like mm3.0/3.5 trolls or like the dmg trolls, I'd do a replace, but I think the one on the vault (that I've seen) is kinda crappy.
Saw the troll. Don't plan on doing that one. In my opinion it's a step backwards. As for the Manticore, I like the CODI animations better but prefer the bioware model, so I may see if I can mix those two together. but unfortunately, I can't do it right now, landlord is selling the house and I have to leave fr 2 hours while it's being shown.
I got the Mindflayer models when I downloaded the Haks for the Gatecrashers PW I'm going to try. So I'll yoink them out of there and get to work on those next.
My plan, to replace all the crappy bioware models with ones that don't make me want to vomit. I'm not saying all the bioware models are crappy, because theyre not, but some of them are crappy enough to make me want to vomit. And if I were better with 3ds Max and wasn't doing these edits by hand, I'd be making a 3.0-3.5 minotaur, because I never really liked the bioware one much.
