The Aethyr Tileset is designed for astral space, interdimensional places, pocket worlds, and assorted "Spiritual" type places. In Waynest, it's used for the hidden mage paths between various places.

Aethyr is based primarily on Gaia Werewolf's "Floating Roads" tileset, with the addition of Yumi Chan's Desert Floating Island, and NinjaWeaselMan's Vortex Skybox, and Acropole's Astrological "Centre" piece. I then retextured virtually the whole tileset to make it far more magical and ghostly.

My psychotic Gnoll Clan travel through Time and Space hunting for challenging game (not unlike the Predators) and have thus far generally just walked into one glowing VFX portal thingy and emerged from another into a new world or time... Fine, but too quick and easy...
Now they have the perfect interdimensional rift to mess about in. Excellent texture work, Timdalos! Always nice to find a tileset that offers something completely fresh in terms of environment... especially when you were just thinking how nice a weird interdimensional rift would be for your module a few hours earlier...
*blushes* Thank YOU for the idea, I'd never have done Aethyr without it. Good stuff :-) And just of note: ALL my Tilesets are done so that they are 100% NON replacing. If I like a Tile/Set enuogh to want to work with it, I want to do enough with it that it will be useful IN ADDITION to the originals. No replacing someone elses stuff :-)
Sure thing, just get in touch with me, Arikel. You don't have a PM/Email on your profile. I very much like the work you've all done, and would be happy to help out. Drop me a line :-)
Looks good. I'll have to download it to check it out. If you'd like to help with the CTP project (it's not dead - just comatose. There's only 3 of us working on the project now), let me know. We could use the help.
Oh, as well.... if anyone's working on picking the CTP back up again, ANY of my stuff (Working on several other tilesets right now as well, this is just the first one to Final Beta :-) )is more than wlecome to include or contact me about
*smiles* No troubles. It's a fairly specialized sort of Tileset... But it was somethign I REALLY needed for the layout of my own Module, and I figured enough folks might need Mysterious Extradimensional Spaces kind of places that it would be worth making available :-)
CEP currently do not handle tilesets, skyboxes. It has been said that they may plan for such things in future, but at the moment they will steer clear of tileset work.
As for the tileset at hand, forgive if I don't vote, I simply have no real interest in studying this particular submission any further after just looking throught it briefly. Sorry for spamming :) _________________________ --- What can Q do for you? --- Undead Redux 2 | Wild Woods Tileset
