At long last, you have in your hands the first public release (ok, so the tartan/plaid was really 1st) of my custom cloak texture collection. Players on my PW have been enjoying these and more since April 2007.
Included in this release:
Mantle, Plain (it's all for fashion...this ain't gonna keep you warm)
Mantle, Edged (just a little fancier than the plain one)
Mantle, Eyes (big dragon eyes...watching your back for you?)
Mantle, Jester (everyone plays the fool sometimes)
Cloak, Music (for when the notes over your head don't already say "bard" loud enough)
Cloak, Eyes (doesn't this say "look, I've got a magic cloak"?)
Cloak, Patched (complete with blood stain from an old sneak attack wound)
Cloak, Plaid/Tartan (re-released...follow the link for more screenshots)
Prank Sign (just think of the possibilities)
cloakmodel.2da (includes ONLY the above cloaks...merge into your own 2da...)
In the toolset, after adding the textures and icon files to your own hak (you are including more than just my cloaks, arent' you?), just make a new cloak and select the appearance you want. Some of the cloaks require you to set one of the textures to the shiny-mirror-chromy color (for proper transparency).

I'm upgrading my vote by .25, I can see your point on the one cloak you mentioned, though I do think there are still minor problems that make these cloaks need far more detail. _________________________ @===============================================@ Vinchenzo made a post here. This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice: Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh... Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author. Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass. There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol) @===============================================@

Nice work on the mantles! My only gripe would be the underlying textures used for the plain and edged mantle. If the edged one looked like it was made from a different material, the diversity of the content would have certainly increased. - Kris

Then there's something wrong with how they are displayed on my end... What I'm seeing in the CEP version is a PLT-colour based patch where the transparency should be applied. :/

Kris C, That's what these really are, new plt texture files (and plt icons) that work with some of the basic cloak models.
