Is there any way that the spears can be changed to use, say, the longsword animations when one handed? You still attack with them using two hands, even if you have a shield or offhand item equipped, which makes them clip through the offhand item.
This is actually not a new idea, someone posted a hak several years ago which made spears and staffs one-handed weapons, this one just changes spears and leaves staffs as is.
I believe you can make the animations actually look like a one-handed item by changing the value in the "WeaponWield" column in baseitems.2da from a 4 to ****. I think that's what they did when they switched spears to one-handed items on the True Source server. _________________________ Live in such a way as to always deserve that which you love most.

Brilliant! Why didn't I think of this.
The animations are fine except for a little clipping with shields but they are default BW. Dual wielding spears looks silly. _________________________ NWN2 voicesets for NWN1
how does it work with shields, does the shield just attach to the hand like it normally does and then use normal animations? can u give us screenies too.
