Description

Do you want to give your players visual clues? By placing text (using a graphics program) on the tga file I've provided (tome_text.tga) then copying it and pasting into the green part of the db_book2_blank.tga and saving it as db_tome2.tga. All you have to do is overwrite the db_tome2.tga file in the hak and you have yourself a written clue. You could even put a picture on one page. I've written a simple script that makes the player seem to open the closed tome (also made by me) to reveal the clue. The text in the sample is a little small (8Pts) but you could always increase the size for better legibility.

08/05/2008:
Added the Tome on Skeletons from CEP 2.1. It makes the print much easier to read. The instructions for altering it are the same only the finished TGA file needs to be called "drb01_book00.tga"
It doesn't clash with CEP2.1 or require it. It will work on a bare NWN module. You will need to find a free line in your Placeables 2da though. Currently at line 301.

A very good idea. I think you could read it... but depends on your screensize and resolution.

looks a bit small. work fine for small pictures but for words, like ur demo screenie, i don't think it'll work

Thanks. I'd hit a blank spot in my mod and I've been distracting myself with details. I've had a good night with my mates and a few beers and the blank spot has gone away, WOOT! back to Chapter 2...
