The Community Placeables Pack has Arrived!

The CPP is a modular system of HAK-Modules based upon the format used by the CTP Team. Each CPP Hak-Module offers builders a collection of unique placeables based upon some of the most popular tilesets available on the Vault. This initial release offers:

Generic Placeables - incorporating newly released work by:

Tom Banjo (TBX Placeables - Link )
TheGeorge (NWN2 Placeables for NWN1 - Link ).
Dragonessa

Classic dungeon Placeables - themed for Maxam's Classic Dungeon 0.9.1 - Link

Subsequent hak-modules in production will include four collections of placeables themed for LordofWorms popular Swamp, Seasonal Forest, and Dungeon tilesets - Link

The contents of this package are available for download and redistribution as you (the End-User) see fit. All I ask is that you include a link back to this package and or include a copy of the Readme with any compilations so that the respective authors get the credit they deserve.

I wish I had discovered this before I was setting up my Arnheim mod. I independently hunted down and merged much of this content before realizing all this work was already done for me by someone with similar tastes.

The classic dungeon stuff is very nice though. Imagine secret doors that actually blend in with the surroundings. Excellent.

I downloaded the CPP_Tcd01_FULL.7z full version and was looking through Firehazurd's Trapporium. In vfx_persistent.2da, the on_enter and heartbeat columns reference zep_t_CamoPitA, zep_t_DeepPitA, zep_t_WhirlBldA and zep_t_WhirlBldC. I cannot find these files in the distribution. Do you know if they are included in this distribution somewhere, or do we need to acquire these files elsewhere?

Awesome. Heh, the whole upheaval already had something good to it (at least for me) - it pointed me to this.

For me the generic placeables are very useful and a nice small alternative to the CEP if I just want some additional high quality placeables in my modules.

I've been away for a while or I would have voted earlier...

Great stuff!

As I have said to you before I am deeply flattered that someone thinks highly enough of my tileset to make placeables for it.

A fantastic idea to tie placeable collections to tilesets!

To date no CPP hak-modules have been released that are reliant upon CTP tilesets. As noted above you must have Maxam's Classic Dungeon to use cpp_mod_tcd01.hak - as it is reliant upon textures in that release.
