03/10/2010: start working on a pack of nwn2 placeables from thegeorge to use with the cool q_haks: Link ~~~
03/12/2010: updatet to Version 0.2!

This content may be awesome, I have no doubt, but I cannot watch it, because this file 'q_nwn2_c.hak' has a broken link. Please, re-upload it. Thanks _________________________ Fly, Swim & Jump in NwN2?

Raven_Xan: Are you planning on adding the rest of thegeorge's NWN2 paceables, i.e. q_nwn2_d and maybe _e? If so, is there anything I can do to help? If not, may I secure your permission to carry on with this project? Please email me. _________________________ stuff

Just so you know, the blueprints look like they're for the CEP version, NOT Q. _________________________ stuff

Thank you for compiling these in a variety of useful ways, Raven_Xan. _________________________ stuff

Razide0506 - shouldn't be a problem. seeing as how WinRAR is the appropriate program. Simply double-click on nwn2x_nocep.part1.rar and, assuming the remaining two parts are in the same directory, WinRAR will automatically extract the files in the proper sequence; ie no need for you to manually extract 2 and 3. Make sense?
With the addition of these placeables to the CEP, my original question is somewhat redundant. However, to clarify, when I was refering to the 3 parts I was refering to the files nwn2x_nocep.part1.rar, nwn2x_nocep.part2.rar, and nwn2x_nocep.part3.rar. I use WinRAR to open RAR files, so maybe that had something to do with my problem?

Great job.
do you plan to continue to convert other placables?
Or is it possible to have the tool you use to convert?

Razide0506: Your question was in no way dumb, but my reply might be deemed so inasmuch as it was incomplete. The purpose of an erf is simply a lazy person's ( guilt as charged)answer to easily adding items - such as Raven_Xan/thegeorge's excellent work - to the Toolset Pallete. The hak files include them in the module, but a further step is required to allow them to appear in the pallete so they may be "placed" in the tileset environment. I realize this is a rather terse explanation, but should it need further explaining please contact me at [email protected] and someone, perhaps even me, will try to clarify. Again, good luck to you.

Razide0506: not entirely certain what you mean by "open" the 3 files. .rar files are meant to be extracted via a program named XAce Plus. One needs to extract only Part 1, which automatically extracts subsequent files, in this case Parts 1 & 2. For the life of me I can't recall exactly WHERE to find XAce, only that it's free. I suggest that you do a search either on this site or, perhaps, on Google. Good luck to you.
At the risk of asking a dumb question, could someone help me out here? When I opened the files with parts 1, 2, and 3, the haks inside all have the same name. As such, I can't put them in the hak folder, because they try to overwrite each other. Am I supposed to be renaming them?
Also, why would I want to import the .erf into my module, as opposed to just adding the hakpaks?
This is a realy good idea with alot of effort, thank you. I cant get it to work properly. If you try the haks alone they wont work together, but if I use this consolidated hak, some of my houses dont show up right and some placeable are missing. Any idea whats wrong? When can we expect 1.1? Thanks

Instead of grousing about it, I went ahead and created an erf. If you're interested, drop me a line so you can check it out. Be glad to make it available, but would rather you add it to your own work...assuming it's of any value, that is. Thanks and good luck.

Although an erf would have been desireable, you certainly deserve a 10 for the effort put into this project. Do keep such valuable contributions coming.

Will definitely wait for something that evinces as much potential as this!

Seems like it, but isn't 46MB large enough to contain everything listed?
