Description

Adds to NWN characters Old-Style arm swing animations and New-Style leg movement animations.

I discovered this completely by accident and did not invent the files. Therefore the actual file credit goes to Sylmael for his "Visisble Dynamic Weapons"

Ive been experimenting with trying to put hakpaks into override. some worked but some didnt.

While trying this 1 it didnt but i noticed different player animations.

Im not a fan of both the old style and new style movement animations. at least only half of them. I liked the old style arm swing but not the jumpy legs.
I also like the new style walk/run but not the cement upper body movement and stiff arms.

I always wanted a way to add the 2 pros of the old and new together but didnt find anything on the vault.

So when i tried to add the dynamic weapons to overide I found no dynamic weapons. But i did find to my surprise old-style arm swing and new-style leg movement. and I wanted to share my findings with the vault.

I know alot of people do not like one or the other or even either of the animations. I think that this is the most "real" looking it can get and should have been the Bioware Standard.

Try it out and see if you like them

UPDATE:
Ive recently noticed that there is some clipping pointed out by a comment. There is some clipping with cloaks and arms, the belt/pelvis. and there are no cloak animations.

I would like to try to fix that However i have no skill with editing/modding as i discovered these by accident. If anyone would like to try to fix these issues on the files and then resubmit them feel free. if these Issues can be fixed, these would truly be the best walk/run animations.

All you have to do is put these files into your overide folder. I think you will like them but if you dont just delete them

Looks great in a pre-1.68 version of NWN, or a later release with the no-cloaks override.

However, for those of us who work with cloaks, Alternate Combat Animations 4.0 BETA, and 1.69, it is useless, as the arms constantly clip with cloaks, which also seem to move strangely for some reason, as if the "flow" animation was not activated on them.

Great little fix, but not useful to everyone.

decent ^^ i dont like the walk cycle either or that ump sword attack ^^ ty for finding these ^^
