Oh this is great! Thank you so much. On our reincarnation of Vives I scripted the conversion of some dropped objects into placeables (that can again be picked up - and store the resref of the dropped item) to solve this problem for some items. But this is a much better solution. Thank you so much. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

This work is one of those things that's been used by so many, for so long, that it seems as if it's always been in the game. It pays to remember, someone created and gave us this, so we didn't have to jarringly see lootbags everytime something dropped.
Great addition, and my thanks go out to those CCers, many long gone from NWN. Your work remains, and is valued greatly.

A HUGE addition to the game, and still useful after all this time! :)

This just rocks. It seems to be included in the CEP now, and I think it definitely deserves more high votes. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

Sounds like the drop model names need adding to Cep's baseitems.2da not really a hard job, most of them are set as item bag (the little grey bag drop model) should not be too hard to change this reference to the DOA drop models. _________________________ Author of: Elemental Blades (V1.0 Swords) Link
I got the base items working perfectly, however after importing the erf, the dye pots are no longer placeable. I looked at the entry, and its says Bad Strref for the base type. Any ideas where i went wrong?

That didn't stop them from overwriting anything else.

Very cool Hak, and I'm planning to use it, but the refusal to make it CEP compatible strikes me as a bit petty, and makes it harder to implement in CEP-using modules. Be careful when using it with high-concealment tilesets like high grass- the smaller items go from hard to find to not bloody likely. :-)

Actually, my guess would be that since this is a replacing hak, rather than an aggregating one, they decided to leave it out rather than making people dig it out of the CEP if they don't want it... I'm planning to use it, but some people might want to keep the loot bags for whatever reason.
I am using the CEP as a base, and adding the few things I like that they didn't include. CEP compatibility would be nice, so that people who want to use this have an easier time of it, but that's up to you.
Either way, thanks for the kick butt modification of cheesy loot bags!
