This is a test version of the GUI I was working on for The Immortal Module (aka, "TIM") that is scheduled for open beta release in mid-August 2009. Due to issues listed below, I do not plan to take this GUI reconfiguration any further, but thought I'd release it for others to fiddle with, take parts of, etc.
It reconfigures the Graphic User Interface to allow for a border, new buttons, an altered HP bar and a few other small graphic features such as buttons, compass modifications, chat and inventory redesign, and so on. Sadly, it doesn't entirely work ...
Known Issues None of these are game breaking, but they do look rather silly * The GUI border only functions properly at 800x600 resolution (or whatever the lowest is). Anything larger will break the border up into "pieces." I have no clue how to fix this.
* Even in the 'correct' 800x600 resolution, the HP bar does not animate properly after the PC loses 1 or more HP. This is probably due to the way NwN handles animesh, but I don't really know enough to address this issue.
* The chat history bar is partially hidden behind the left border.
Credits All credit for any graphics in the GUI which are not mine goes to Electronic Arts, Sandcastle, and the Arvale GUI 2 by Ricko. If you're looking for information on GUI redesign in general, click here
Notes & Instructions This download is set up as a .rar compressed hak file with a demo module. Simply extract them to their respective folders and run as usual.
If you find fixes for the issues above, please post here letting me know. Thanks and happy gaming!

Hi Raven_Blood: Thanks for your comments & interest!
Yes, the game this hak is designed to recreate/ update was originally game, "The Immortal," which was published in 1990, so its a bit dated. A lot of what I'm doing is just fiddling around in my spare time learning to use 3D modeling software, so it's also not super high end.
Even so, I thought someone else might get a kick out of it or be able to use it for something. There seem to be a fair number of GUIs running around, but most of them just mess with buttons. My goal here was to stretch the engine a little and see what I could splice in there. As it turns out, not as much as I'd hoped ;)

this looks nice, but even though its a beta version the screenshos give me the indication that its a more of an "old" style gaming feel. Though it looks great for such, its just not my type of "old" style feel. Nice work so far! and keep up the great work! ill be checkin' in to see any new updates...
