This hak overrides the Bioware mines tileset. It uses the ceilings made by Hellfire and has been retextured by me.
I also added the lava pit terrain and a few tiles with cave plants.
If anybody needs it, I could also make a version for your override folder so it will replace the mines tileset in every module, not just the ones that use this hak.
This is a demo module for the tileset. You will start in a gnome village. I didn't use any sounds, placeables or NPCs yet because I made this module just to
show what can be done with this tileset. It would have a lot more atmosphere if
it had sounds, placeables and NPC, but even without them I think it already has more atmosphere than the standard mines tileset.
Very unique, some hard thinking went into this build. A definate must! _________________________ Realms of Shargast V1-V5ab, LOTR V15, The Undeath Clave Faithful of Aerth

Unfortunately I messed up and added a .txi file for a texture that was 512x512 instead of 256x256 in size. This causes access violations in the toolset. If you downloaded it between June 19th and now, you have to download again or remove the file tdm01_log01.txi from the hak. This texture was used in one tile of the gnome homes (y01_02). I appologize for this. Happy birthday, Jack!

Thx for those news! I will download and update my Files after your update. Eventually this was the the problem. If it is fixed after this, or eventually not, I will post it here. _________________________ Link Isladora, an island in the Sea of Swords

Hi Dunahan! Two days ago I noticed one of the svirfneblin terrain tiles doesn't have a walkmesh. I had no time at all to work on it this weekend, but I will fix it as soon as possible. I have no idea if that could cause problems with multiplayer games. In a single player game your PC will walk in the air when entering that tile, but there won't be any crashes or the like.

Wonderful and outstanding work! There's only one little problem... Some Players of my PW Isladora have some problems when they enter an area with this Tileset. NWN stucks and they can't reenter the PW until the next Reset. I don't have any clue what it is... Does anyone know a solution? Thx for submitting anyway ;) _________________________ Link Isladora, an island in the Sea of Swords

Hello Darkvalley! You wrote: "Theres only one little thing I don't like: The distance between the roof of the houses and the ceiling isn't that much. It gaves me (only personal sight)the feeling that the houses are a bit too big." That's something I couldn't avoid. The smallest house consists of four tiles because these houses aren't features but a terrain. And the original caves weren't built for anything higher than 8 metres, so to make the gnome homes fit in properly with enough room left above their roofs, I would have had to raise the roofs of all the other hundreds of tiles. Luckily there's no such problem with outdoor tilesets :p I still have to make the roofs and a few additions to my city interior tileset and fix the lag problem in the medieval city tileset (if I can ever figure out what is causing it, since it makes no sense at all) before I can add more to this tileset. I'm still planning to make a few fixes like adding the missing roofs above the ships and then I'll add more gnome home features like a smithy, a guild house and a townhall and I will make a high bridge connecting two raised tunnels with the gnome city below it. And I got a couple of other ideas.

Realy great tileset override, can't imagine how anyone ever used the original tileset after have a look at your work! The houses are a great addition, and I'm not tired to wander around and please my eyes with your very detailed work (as always!)the indoor market stands, the ladders, windows..etc.Theres only one little thing I don't like: The distance between the roof of the houses and the ceiling isn't that much. It gaves me (only personal sight)the feeling that the houses are a bit to big. Thank you very much for your work, spending endless hours on it and please go on..:)

Neat stuff I really dig the lava tile sets and the gnome homes (unique!).
