This package is a rework of the original 'Fable Weapons and Armor' conversion by Antenni that can be found here.
This version fixes the internal model numbering errors, the inventory icon image issues, and rescales the weapons to match the original Bioware scale for the appropriate weapon type. The hak also includes several new weapon additions in the form of rescaled entries to other weapon types (eg. daggers and short swords). See the attached screenshots for all the weapons.
Unfortunately, the armor rework is not complete and isn't included in this package.
There is a CEP v2.1 compliant hak available as well. The CEP version takes advantage of the expanded base item entries for weapons, such as 'Longsword 2'. For more recent versions of the CEP (eg. 2.3), you may have to merge the baseitems.2DA lines and renumber the weapon model numbers/inventory icons if the CEP team has used those entries.

FableRedux.hak --- This is the Fable Weapons Redux hak for HOTU patch 1.69 use

Usage
* If you are not using any CEP version, just add the FableRedux.hak file to your module. Import the FableRedux.erf file into your module and refresh the weapons palette. The weapons will appear under the appropriate weapon type menu (eg. Short Sword) with 'Fable' postpended to the name.
* If you are using CEP version 2.1, just add the FableReduxCEP2.hak file to your module *ABOVE* the CEP haks. Import the FableReduxCEP2.erf file into your module and refresh the weapons palette. The weapons will appear under the appropriate weapon type menu (eg. Short Sword) with 'Fable' postpended to the name. If templating new weapons with CEP, note that many of the entries now use the expanded base item types of 'Longsword 2', 'Bastard Sword 2', etc.

Nice work. Last year I started on the Fable Armour and converting the textures to greyscale, but hit roadblocks on what to do with some of the parts for Jack of Blades. If you figure out the helms and the Jack of Blades Outfits, let me know.

This is a great facelift to the weapons. Has anyone created a version that overrides some of the less appealing CEP models? I am thinking of doing this so that I can still use combat feats. _________________________ Link Link

Updated both zip files with new haks to pull in the fixed Obsidian axe texture. Also posted the fixed DDS texture for those willing to brave adding to the hak themselves. It's nice to see the old gal' get some nice new models. NWN1 has so much potential through importing nicer models and textures.
I saw these and thought "I've never played Fable before, where the heck have I seen these?" I realized they're in NWN2 through the Dark Armory hak.
