The Q-Castle Project is an improvement package that will increase the functionality of both the Standard Bioware Castle Interior tileset and the DLA/Bioware 1.69 Castle Interior 2 tile set.
Currently Project Q has made small improvements to Castle Interior 2 tileset. Adding a raise/lower terrain and creating 4 new corridor stair tiles which allow the corridor access to the raise/lower terrain placements. I have added this to the standard Castle Interior as well.
I am continuing the expansion of these two classic tilesets I will be adding a new hall crosser a portion of which is contained in this hak. Yes, only a portion but a portion that is very functional as it stands. The only real drawback at this point is it requires the doorway crosser to adjoin to any other terrain or crosser I will be rectifying this in hopefully the very near future. I also plan to make it fully functional with the new Q raise/lower like the corridor.
Other planned additions would probably be the windows crosser by Stephen Nispel, rounded corners by Yellowlab, decluttered rooms by Danmar, and possibly a modified workshop terrain original by Helvene made into an armor and weapons workshop. I would also like to create a new Mage Lab 2x2 group. Any other are ideas are welcome although they may not be implemented but it�s always worth it to ask. A roof has already been mentioned but that is one I won�t touch as to roof two entire tilesets is quite beyond my intermediate tileset skill level.
Hopefully those downloading this hak will provide me with good constructive critics and ideas. Please include a fairly detailed description of any bugs you find so I can get those fixed. I will continually update this hak with corrections and additions.
This hak requires Project Q version 1.4 be installed. Place this hak over all other Q haks.
New update, added more doorway connectors in the hall, also added new hall big exit and hall door exit to the features. I fixed several tiles and I retexured the floor with a different texture which I think looks much better. _________________________ [Creature Compilation] [The Q Castle Project]
Since the tileset itself does not contain a roof I doubt I will add one to these tiles. Roofing an entire tileset would be quite time consuming for me as I am only a intermediate tileset creator. Hopefully, it will be contained in q update 1.5 or possibly a Q tileset update. _________________________ [Creature Compilation] [The Q Castle Project]
Looks promising. Will it have a roof? So PQ is releasing more content V5 or will it be an update? I shall vote on this when it is completed old friend.
