I re-modeled/re-skined the bioware deer model to become a Diatryma. Diatryma was a prehistoric flightless bird that lived in North America and western Europe durring the early Eocene. Becuse of no other large predators existed at the same time it was the dominant predator, It ate small mammals and lizard. But also could eat grains and fruit as the modern parrot. It was heavely built with tiny wings and shaggy feathers like a modern emu. Its stong legs were used for chasing prey and its large head and hooked beak was for tearing meat and cracking nuts.
Updated 2/27/04: The model has been tweaked. a 3rd plume, a new beak design and new textures. Plus a new pack version using the extracted pack pony bags from Nitocris & Finniksa Equine pack. Also i added a diatryma portrait. Enjoy!
Update 2/28/04: Amazing what dds can do. It now has dds instead of bad quality tga files. :)

Chocobos are NOT Diatrymas! Chocobos have large wings, small beaks, tails, they don't have those strange pointy things on their heads... I could go on.
