This is the hak pack for Dreamcatcher 2. Place in your /nwn/hak/ directory in order to play the game. 1.2 This has been updated for HotU. 1.3 Updated to fix Shifter issues.
I'd like to be able to finish it before I rate it. I've loved it so far, but I'm stuck on the Archmage's quarters as well. Is there a bug? _________________________ "What do you despise? By this are you truly known."

Just wondering if anyone could tell me the way to get the hint from the Archmage`s quarters? I`ve tried everything! (Well, not everything then if I`m not able to progress).
And just to add my voice to this, I really dislike the turn the series has taken away from fighting - tactical fighting is what makes DnD so fun. As long as the conversations are interesting and funny, that`s fine, but DnD is always going to be about fighting.
In light of that, I really think that not giving XP for killing mobs is a bad idea. It just makes people turn on their haste and run past everything. Who can`t buy an invis potion and just walk past everything?
Devs want people to go through their witty dialogues and not just kill everything but some people want to play their characters like that. Don`t remove possible ways to play the game by making killing things pointless.

If it's part of a module I've played, you better believe it deserves a vote. As a Macintosh user who knows nothing about the toolset, scripting, or programming, the score is 10 on default. :) _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 10.00.

hippa: You're not supposed to get XP for killing stuff in Dreamcatcher. It's definitely no bug.
Personally, I prefer it that way, and I hope Adam will do the same thing in Demon.

We started playing from shadowlords and proceeded to dreamcatcher with 3 players. When we got to dreamcatcher we were on 8 and 9 levels. The guide in the epilogue said that this would be challenging. Any way we don't get any experience points for killing monsters, not even from tough monsters. its not fun. it seems like a bug. This continues to dreamcatcher part 2 (and probably thru all the modules)

I have a solution for all the people who have been unable to download this hak. Someone who already has this hak file (or I will after I have finished downloading it myself) share it on a file share server. Think of how easy it would be to download with resume on Kazaa, Imesh, Grokster or anything like that.
Just seems like a good idea to me. For pity's sake don't share your whole NWN folder though. Next thing you know some sick basterd will be downloading your cd-key, HA!

All haks for the series should have the same name (and
include everything from the previous), so that only one is
needed for all episodes.
