This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 24 that made this score of 6.01 then rounded to 6.

Awsome dude! just the thought of making a Sci-Fi hackpack
and a total conversion gives me the shivers! Can you make
something more powerfull (something like a ak47 or
something?)
Posted by Oni Jon ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-30 11:50:00
Whoa cool, you made the model... now all we need is to turn
it into an actual useable weapon that isn't restricted to
one Mod only. It'd be fun to go around shooting goblins.
bwahahaha... it's like a slingshot, but more automatic...
hehe... (yes I am insane, so so insane, so insane that I
don't realize that I'm insane even if I am and I don't know
why I can talk about it like this...)

At on time there was rumors of a company having rights to
use the NWN engine to do a d20 system Star Wars conversion.
Posted by Lannos ( 07/19/02 20:21..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-07-19 20:21:00
Great great... now how do I use this model? There's nothing
to download?
Posted by Goatee ( 07/15/02 12:56..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-07-15 12:56:00
Sweet man I hope someone makes something besides swords
and spells with this engine. As easy as this editor is to
use it'd be a shame to see only D and D. Great work!
Posted by Nilos ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-07-01 19:07:00
I think thats great... we hawe the possibility here to
emulate ANY rpg.. its stupid to be "fix" only on "medieval
fantasy"... i mean.. ill never use those weapons in a "BG"
world.. but in a "sci fi" world those guns would be really
nice.. wath i ever wanted is guns like those from Fallout
in this game.. i mean not "modern guns", i mean the "old
ones"... u know pirates and so on.. one more thing, Dwarwes
hawe guns and cannons in the WarrHammer universe.. why not
also in the D&D? :P
and sorry for my ***** english..
Keep creating stiff like this :)

3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook page 162-
164 list different technology levels. included are rules
for Renaissance, Modern, and Futuristic Firearms and
explosives. hmm for some reason having guns in NWN doesn't
sound so odd anymore.
-Dm's warning to players "Just remember, Tinker Gnomes
invented uzi's........"

Wow no man your an idiot. It doesn't have to be for this
game like maybe the world or Toril in it's future. As
there is a future door near the end of the game.
Hell even you can have a Rifts (that would OWN if it was a
not a mod but an actual game) or a Vampire mod and use
these. Its not for the fantasy part, dumbass.
Posted by Spin ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-26 10:28:00
Have you guys every head of Gothic Earth? Its a 1890's like
campain setting for D&D. The campaing Setting resources
include a dozen or so different guns to use in it, so a .22
pistol is totaly appropriate.
Posted by Stregone ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-26 06:26:00
Jeez, if you don't like it, don't download it. No one is
forcing you to use it.

btw, somebody mentioned how fallout was better than
baldur's gate. Well, there's a team out there doing a
fallout remake. They were going to use DS to do it, but I
believe they are strongly considering switching to NWN, i
don't know what the website is, but check it out
Posted by Souledge ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-25 16:03:00
The whole purpose of NWN is to bring D&D rule system to the
computer? WRONG!! That is just the icing on the cake. Don't
you see the BIG picture here? You can make almost any
fantasy game you want. Why does it have to be just swords
and spells? If he wants make .22 pistols, I say let him. I
don't think anybody should criticize somebody for using
their imagination. LIGHTEN UP!!
Posted by Rashad ( 06/24/02 13:03..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-24 13:03:00
mmm.... a full-fledged cyber-fantasy hakpak would be a very
interesting hakpak to see in NWN. it would greatly expand
the variety of stories people are able to tell.
Posted by Koil ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-24 06:35:00
If you're going to make a gun, at least go 9mm or .45...all
you can kill with a .22 is a rat and a target.
Isn't a wand just a gun that shoots spells, or magic
misslies for that matter?

In response to Fendaren's comments I must say that I also
find the idea of a pistol in a fantasy RPG of this type to
be a little strange. I am all for trying new things, but
I do not agree with your sentiment that "You holier than
thou 'rpgers' should maybe look further than DnD." The
whole purpose of Neverwinter Nights is to bring the
Dungeons and Dragons rule system to the computer world in
a new and unique way. The point of the game is to use the
DnD play system, not look further than it :)

Poison Elves! Hail Lusipher!!
Posted by Fendaren ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-21 22:48:00
Hello, anyone ever heard of shadowrun? You holier than
thou "rpgers" should maybe look further than DnD. While DnD
is an awesome play system, it is not the only one out
there. Heck, you have GURPS, Rifts, shadowrun, various
other cyberpunk games. Come on guys, let's try to expand
ourselves a bit. I know that I would love to see a
Shadowrun mod.

this sucks!
Posted by Neeva ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-18 22:39:00
Don't listen to 'em. The guns look great!
A full conversion to a sci-fi setting might be cool, your
model could be a good start.
Besides, I guess they've never read Poison Elves have they.

I could understand making a mod with the engine with
guns... i think a grand theft auto mod would be awesome,
with gangs and such.... but to have a gun in D&D world...
SHOOT ME(no pun)...
Posted by RIEPLTC ( 06/17/02 21:39..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-17 21:39:00
lmao
Posted by Oblomov ( 06/17/02 17:29..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-17 17:29:00
Hmm... lets see here... What if somebody wanted to make a
moder module using NWN engine. Crazy talk you say? The
Originality police will kill you for that!
Hell, Fallout series was a better and more fun then
Baldur's Gate.
Posted by Anonymous ( 06/17/02 07:19..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-17 07:19:00
LOL I think you have this game confused with.... well, I
don't know what?? Max Payne, Half Life... You might want
to actually find out _what_ the game is all about.
RPG in, this case, is role playing game-- not rocket
propelled grenade.
Posted by NoMan ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-17 02:54:00
Gee... 22 pistols for a fantasy roleplaying game... how
helpful.
