Flintlock Pistol(1-handed) ======================= The small one handed musket is a weapon that is very rarely seen around the Forgotten Realms. But there is one place where the musket is quite common and that is in the hands of a Giff. Fear a Giff that points his musket at you for they know how they have to handle this weapon. Although the wizards of Thay and some obscure gnomish Engineers have 'invented' their own versions of the muskets they are far from being as effective as a Giffs' musket.
You want Nukes Plasma rifles and what not. Go play Fallout. Or Fallout 2. Or Some other game that Nukes, Plasma Rifles, and Such. I also admit that if someone dosne't want it. Then don't download it. Or don't play in someones mod that has it. I'm just saying that you would get a better experience from it if you played a game that supported those type of weapons. These type of weapons are good. (I'm gonna sound like I know what I"m talking about for just a sec) ..... I belive dwarves make weapons like these and use them alot. So for all of you that are complaining about it "not being true to the game"... save it for someone that actually makes a nuke. ... This guys ideas are good. These type of guns are indeed "true to the game."

Some of you simpletons need to realise that not everyone who plays NWN plays in Forgotten Realms. To be perfectly honest I can't tell the difference between any of the types of D&D nor do I give a rat's +blocked+. Who cares if he made a pistol? Who cares if he made a plasma rifle? I'd love to see a modern, futuristic or alternate plane mod for NWN. However if Mister-Comic-Book-Fatty-Play-It-By-The-Rules-I'm-Telling-On-You-In-My- Livejournal doesn't like the idea of a pistol, Sig 550 or a thermonuclear skateboard he doesn't have to download it. Dipshits.

Hi. I know that people are allowed to have their own creativity an all. But what if one has so much creativity that it ruins the game for others. I admit... the gun idea sounded cool so I clicked on this link... but reading your comments...I've found that if you make guns...someone could eventualy build a nuke in this game...and what fun would that be?? people aren't playing this game to get their butts wooped... their playing to have fun... you take out the combat for firearms... and your making it a very dull game. Sorry.. great idea...but not for this game.

Okay, I know that no one is so absent minded as to not have any creativity in here... I mean hasn't anyone heard of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura... Come on People! D&D is great but there are other time periods and there are still rumors of Witches and Warlocks today. If Someone wants to create they need an imagination... I sure hope no one who is critisizing the fine work these People are doing are make Mods because if you are It's just gonna be neverwinter nights, and every other recreation that has already been done. Now if your done crying about stuff that is not reality and will stop being so freakin shallowminded then I would like to say this... Great Idea and Awesome thought!

Mongoose, you should pay closer attention to your forgotten realms history. For one thing, what does our history have to do with it's? Secondly, there are far more than just 'muskettes' available in this setting. Lastly,... you've never heard of a Giff? This exactly follows the forgotten realms history, wake up. :P
