This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 10 that made this score of 4.81 then rounded to 5.

I agree. While this engine is geared more toward D&D
there is no reason why someone couldn't apply him or
herself and develop a new game system. I've also played
Top Secret and Gamma World in the past. I think Bioware
could apply themselves with this engine and develop this
kind of gaming system for the other RPGs out there. Good
luck on you ambition. I would like to know how it works
out.

Actually, I'm all for kicking the fantasy out of
Neverwinter and making something more Shadowrun or
Wasteland oriented.
I know that some of those Dungeon and Dragons diehards will
thumb a nose at their more technically advanced brothers,
but who really cares? Bioware gave us probably the greatest
roleplaying tool ever to be created and why should we
suffer with a bunch of boring goblins sitting around a camp
fire picking their bothersome noses.
Why should we have to suffer while some loud mouthed
salivates over a leg of mutton. Why should we listen to the
mwe he hes of a necromancer?
Well we don't have to! TO SHADOWRUN! AND CYBER PUNK! AND
RIFTS! Of course, personally, I'm working on a Wasteland
one. Anyone interested in working on some models? We're
going to need a whole lot for what I'm concocting.

Is it possible to make this bwork in the game as in a
model of the game?

Lol, It is a paintball gun. At first when I submitted it
did I realize that this wasn't a showroom gallery for
models. but for the game NWM. But yes, its a model of my
Black Dragun PB gun.

looks more like a paintball gun to me ;)

Hey, for those of you that haven't heard of shadowrun,
cyberpunk, rifts, gothic earthic call of cthulhu, deadlands
or the many other steam-punk and etal and magic games, how
about Reign of Fire, movie coming out this summer. what is
this model anyway? a minigun? interesting start for a mod.
oh one more point, i see that the Star Wars RPG has gone
D20 system, WOTC must have bought it, should be too hard to
make a SW game for those that want that too. being that
this is the first desent PC game i've seen in awhile, i'm
looking forward to getting what will keep it new for a long
time.

I seem to remember a game called something like Alternity
from way back when -- the pre-d20 rules in a futuristic
setting. It wasn't my cup of tea, but it definitely is a
plausible use of the rules systems.

It good to see people experiementing, after all the 3rd
edition rules have been used for everything from Fantasy to
Sci-Fi and all inbetween. I would not be supprised to see a
total-conversion style modification for NWN that has a Sci-
Fi or modern day setting.

I would like to direct you to a comment I made for the
handgun:
Hello, anyone ever heard of shadowrun? You holier than
thou "rpgers" should maybe look further than DnD. While DnD
is an awesome play system, it is not the only one out
there. Heck, you have GURPS, Rifts, shadowrun, various
other cyberpunk games. Come on guys, let's try to expand
ourselves a bit. I know that I would love to see a
Shadowrun mod.

"giving DM's an option to experiment with different things
is always good" is a great idea, but there has to be a line
somewhere.
Flintlock rifle...maybe.
Repeating oriental crossbow...kinda of, they had that in a
campagin.
Paintball gun? Dual chrome pistols?
Is it a loose easy-going policy about included concepts on
the site or are we keeping feelings in mind when thinking
about rejecting someone's hard work?
It's not a big deal at all, but I just don't want this
useful site to turn into a 3d modelling showcase for
whatever anyone wants to put up there if they happen to
follow Neverwinter. Otherise we'll have Panzers, X-Wing,
Dead or Alive Girls...etc :)
One model I am dieing to see and suprised no one's done it
yet: create a simple sphere or cube...slap on a face...and
you got yourself a whole mess of Modrons! :)

bah... a paintball gun in nwn... and why not a tactical
nuclear weapon ?
Posted by NoMan ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-06-17 03:01:00
oh, another gun... it's good to see the community filling
the gaps left by the developers. Why didn't Bioware
anticipate more hand guns would be needed for their fantasy
roleplaying game set in The Forgotten Realms.
Why should a ranger waste his time with a Long Bow when he
can use an M3?
