Placeable Housing. Well I can offer this. I pulled a one hex house out. Every peice of the tile that makes for a complete house. I can make it a placeable. But I cant get it to recognize the door mesh. So to use it you need to have the Custom Door hak installed. Other words you wont have a door on it. You can use that door and a OnUse script so that when the use it it teleports them to the interior of the house its for. WayPoints are a wonderful thing. I am posting a pic of three houses on a Toolset map. Just to show that it works. But I will keep working on the Doormesh so we can add working doors to them. Ill keep you all posted. And post it here as soon as I get it done. P.S.If anyone has an Idea that could save me time on the doormesh. Let me know. I just want to be able to add working doors to them is all.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 8.75 then rounded to 9.

Why not just add fencing around the front of the house
and give it a door instead? That way it has a little lawn
along with a working door. I guess that could work.

Well I just posted it. Should be a few hours but it is up.
You will need to use the hidden door for a doorway. I still
cant figure out how to make a door node work on a
placeable. Give me time, Ill get it though. Just have to
many other things to do first. Like the 12 Creatures for
our module. Have most of them 90% or so. Just need to
finish up animations and skinning.
But for now the house and guard shack are posted.
Thanks for all the emails asking for them

Well Fellas,
I try to get them done before I post them. The door
mesh is giving me a hard time. I can get one to work but it
off sets the door so that you can see past it on one side.
So I have to do a little remodelling and try it again. It
will be posted in the Hak's area as soon as I get it done.
Thanks for all the replies and emails.

Just FYI: Where the file link should be, it says 'No Files
to Download'. I'd love to take a look at it, but...

Which is great....except i've posted the same thing not too
long ago, not trying to be annoying about it.

Great job, Ice-Child. I want to give you some
encouragement to work on this, since I need it badly for
the mod/script pack i'm working on.
As for the doormesh, I don't see it as being that
necessary. If the entire object is a placable, I'd be very
content to have the players click on it. Sure, a door
would be nice, but don't kill your self trying to make one.
Needless to say, when this is done we're going to need all
sorts of buildings made. As you see it, will we be able to
make placables from groups as well, or is that asking too
much?

Im afraid I can't really help with the door mesh, though
I will point out the obvious so that no one else feels the
need - that you probably can't just make it part of the
placeable, since the whole thing would then be usable from
any angle. It might be nice if you could though.
What I did want to ask you is if you solved the walkmesh
problems that the last placeable house had (the one put up
by Jeggred)? With that house it was possible to not only
end up walking through the walls at times, but also be
stuck about 50 feet in the air. If you've gotten it to
work, I for one would use it
