Decided it was about time someone did a samurai armor model,Helmet texture needs more work, especially the face, but what the heck...would apreciate if anyone would would convert the textures to Plt and insert this into the game(if you do,please send me a non-hakpack version so i can drop it on the override folder,it should be in the Splint mail armor class.)....hope it does anyone any good.
..........*SPEECHLESS*....(TOUNGE DROPPING ACTION)...awsome....keep up the good work...

I just need to say (after studying samurai lifestyles, 'Tha Art Of War', and 'The Book Of Five Rings' I feel a need to correct anything even the slightest bit wrong about samurai) you need to make the "MASK" portion a bit more menacing, thats what they were for, but either way, That some Smeggin' Sweet armour!
I'd help, but I can't find the plug-in fit for 3ds Max 7.0
I tried the old Plug-in, but it just comes out as incompatible.

I downloaded the file, and I know how to get model files working in-game, but being a cheapskate and not wanting to resort to piracy, the modeling software I use is gmax, and not 3dsmax. The .max file you included is non-compatible with gmax. However, if you can get the file into a format that gmax can read (or want to try to use the same techniques I use with gmax yourself) I can either then convert it myself or point you in the right direction. Either way, e-mail me.

Alright, I'm giving you a 9.50 because it looks impressive. Now if only I COULD JUST PLACE IT IN THE NWN OVERRIDE FOLDER. I'd really appreciate that. People these days, never make *anything* simple...

Fantastic! Now can someone - anyone finish the job?!?!

This is a useless 3DS Model, It still cannot be used in NWN, and the guy still complains angry that people are not voting...

Very impressive model man... congrats ^^
I'm looking forward to use this model in JK2 / JKA, the only problem is that I have no idea how to convert it to work with the game baha ^^
If you could reply or email me for any sensitive informations I'd be very grateful. *Bow* Thank you very much.
If you can't import it into 3ds Max R4 try converting it to another format. There are a few free programs out there that will allow you to convert between popular formats like 3ds and Wavefront Object (.obj). You might be able to convert it to .obj then import it using the plugin.

Great model.
Looks a lot like the real samurai yoroi.
One problem - how do I use it?
Which folder to put it in, how to use it?
And it was about time with a kabuto WITHOUT a mempo. Also, we need some half-face mempo, rather than full face (which were actually pretty rare).
I'd do it myself, but I don't know where to start or where to end, never worked with 3d models before and don't know how to. Unfortunately.

What version of 3DS max did you use because I have version 4 and I could not open it.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 23 that made this score of 8.91 then rounded to 9.

You cannot install this, It is a "3D STUDIO MAX MODEL" it is not compatible with neverwinter nights. The NWN models are of the formats Plt and Mdl this is 3ds.
He/she is saying he/she wants (or will but not likely) somone to convert it to Mdl.
I have 3ds max but im not a pro or anything lol.
I'll place a vote for you ;) But the models need some work imo (Just some constructive critisism).
Other then all that, Well done!
Xen.
