I know the animation is pure crap :) but it is my first
creature model. And managing 7 heads over a few hundred
keyframes is maddening.

I'm uploading a new one tonight. Only 5 heads (yes it is a
tiamat model)

Couldn`t believe my eyes when I saw the post !
SEVEN headed hydra !
Wow. Sure the anims are messed up, but it`s a start.
If you can manage to get it to work - you`d made a step
into the all time gallery of moddders.
I begin to ramble, sorry.
Just had an idea: could you make additional models with
fewer heads, so one could "cut off heads" through
scripting ? (polymorph into new creature).
Would be grear I believe.

Got it working and to be honest the heads are a real mess.
They look straight outta the Thing. Plus the skin could do
with being green or black. Other than that the rest is ok.
Soz to sound a bit like a +blocked+ but hey I'm only trying to
help. You've made a start and that is more than I could
dream of so please take my critism with a dose of salt.

Very nice, but, as Papermonk and Haelix said, the heads
are bit messed up. Maybe scale them down so they don't
twist around and make him look like he has some weird
genetic disorder. You have a really nice start here
though. You should also put an .erf with this with all
the stats and description of a hydra. But I'm liking it
so far.

Very cool work animating it, etc.

But the heads are just too big.. mishmashed all over. You
may want to consider shrinking all the heads and then
giving them two layers.

thing. Texture looks good... but the heads twisted around
on his back and stuff really take away from it.

just dl'ed this to peek at it.. 4000 is a pretty high poly
count for a single model.. but would work.. however youll
need to fix the anims.. they are fried.. one of the head
is permanently buried int he neck/torso area and the rest
of the xtra heads arent animated well.. dont really moce
except to jiggle some and they all clip eachother.. kinda
a mess.. the ideas not bad but i'd recommend fixing the
anims and maybe giving it a custom texture
nice star just needs mroe work
