Here is a Strider model that needs skins and animations. It is in 3DS format. Contact me if you would like the model in another format for modification. All permission is given to finish or 'adjust' this model.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 1.50 then rounded to 2.

Strider isn't really the name aragorn chose for himself, it
given to him by the people of bree.

Actually, Strider is just the nickname that Aragorn uses to hide his identity. Strider is also a character from the arcade/NES games. Strider is just a generic name for generic purposes, and is influenced by the idea of someone with such quickness that they seem to move in swift STRIDES. Aragorn uses it as a nickname for this purpose, being a very obscure ranger. The guy in the video games is able to jump and move and slide about in very swift and agile ways. And as such, I would imagine a "strider" monster would be one that, matching the raptor-like dinosaur appearance - would be known for it's quickness and stride of movement.
Not that most of you posters didn't know that already, just to clear that up for Boyse...who maybe is a bit too young to understand that NICKnames in popular books, 9 times out of 10, aren't really original - they are after all, just nicknames and not regular names - they're supposed to give away something about the person's reputation (again the reason Strider is used as a nickname for Aragorn).

It's also the name of Robert Plant's dog, so we wouldn't
want to confuse Led Zeppelin fan, would we?
Gimmeabreak.

If I were you, I wouldn't name a monster after a very
famous fantasy character, from a book which D&D is based
from.
