First. I WAS DOING this for a module. BUT now I stoped all my work on it. Primary, because the NWN 1 engine is not good for WW2 or other modern modifications, secodary, because NWN is rather an old game and not very popular now, more, its a very specific game for a group of fans, not a game from top-ratings, and its fans... I dont think they'll be interested in this modification... And guys who like WW2 games a usually not NWN fans. Now I'm going to a) wait for NWN2 or DragonAge games OR b) now Ive found a guy who is going to do a game based on NWN2 or DragonAge engine, game based on Russian author Lukianenko science-fiction book "The night patrol" and maybe Ill join him.
Smb asked what was it about... It has a Science-Fiction story about Nazi escaped to parallel world useing a teleport and fights with them. But now I dont think its an interesting subject and I really dont know what the future module (or full game) will be about, besides itl be a science-fiction. If Russian-language players will like my mod, I'll maybe create an English translation. Maybe ;-)

To any one who may still care, I'm actually Canadian. To me, the North American blind patriot is any one who tells anyone within earshot that his country is the best, has the best of every thing and is generally beyond reproach.
Also, Fred the Marauder, if you think it�s stupid, JUST IGNORE THE BLEEDING THING! It�s not that hard. People don�t whine and scream about medieval mods for FPSs, so why whine and scream about modern mods for RPGs. Oh, and Mr. Stanislav if all these models are for a mod you�re making I have two questions: one, what�s it about, and two, is there going to be an English version?

Awesome! Great work again! Now if only I could have standard jeeps and cars so my Boston and California moduless don't look like warzones (which they do now that my horrible scripting skills has left the cops gunning eachother down in the street). Hey, anyone else reading this post. I'm desperate for any modern mods, especially hooded sweatshirts, skateboards, baseball caps, motorcycles, etc. I know you fantasy purists must hate me now but yes my NWN module will completely blend modern and magic and right now I'm missing a lot of the modern, so if you could steer any new mods my way, I'd be real grateful.

HEH this one is fun! I'm living in Latvia and we still have some of thease cars on streets. And acctualy this is VAZ not UAZ. there is GAZ, ZAZ, MAZ, KAMAZ too :).But model isn't too good -real car is a little bit different. Anyway good yob!

Not that my post's size will EVER be huge, but, ignore the people talking trash. Bragging about taking down tanks in Iraq, and all that....It's just stupid. Let's not bring political arguments onto a NWN webpage. If anyone who started them had any sense at all, they would apologize, and leave creative people alone. If you're not creative, then, go do whatever, but leave the people who actually have thoughts to their thoughts.
Originally I was against anything modern in concern with NWN, but now that I think on it, it would be a nice addition. Who knows? Might run across (or be tossed into) a modern city in a "realm walking" campaign... could be interesting. ;)

No one listen to those jerks posting against this mod or mods like it. I think alot of these people making anti Russian comments are completely stupid. I say Role Play how you want if that means with tanks and stuff thats cool. But as for these people makeing stupid comments no one listen to them. And they wonder why people hate americas.

Juha, who is from Slovenia, asked me if I could help him get this model working properly in the override folder. While I really like the design, I couldn't make it function, sadly enough.
This would make a great addition to the D20 Modern conversion.
It's too bad all the kids who have posted below don't spend the same amount of time studying real history.
The only M1 tanks actually 'lost' (totally destroyed) in the middle East were victims of friendly fire or system failures. But then again, as I said.... If they had spent the same amount of time studying real history.
RPG= both role playing game and rocket propelled grenade, both of which, thankfully, have been merged by the D20 Modern team.
I, for one, would love to see more models like this incorporated, simply because it would enhance the D20 Modern system which has been based off the Aurora engine.
Don't just leave it at Russian tanks though, please make sure to think about adding other countries' heavy gear too.
The US and Russia weren't the only ones to make big beasties out of metal. :)
Okay, yeah, the US ans Russia were the guys that were the most proliferate at selling their toys to other countries, but still, we have to respect the little people, like Germany and England, meh... and France (cough*laugh*cough), who had a hand in passing on their military might.
