This portal was created long ago (2006) for Aelsia PW. As far as i know they never used it :)
Warning! - you will have to update placeables.2da to make it compatible with current version of the game (and/or CEP)
(mdl file is in asci format so you can easily edit it. also there are tga files instead of dds so they might be edited too)
Four portals in two versions. All can be ON/OFF in toolset or via scripting (for example x2_plc_used_act script). Textures are modified a little and HotU texture not used anymore. Also 2da included for plain NWN and CEP enhanced.
Three portals. Good, Evil, Neutral. Bigger and better :)
Portals can be in one of four states:
- default, off : nothing happens
- on : portal active, vortex is rotating out of portal
- open: portal active, vortex is rotating into portal
- close: portal inactive, portals eye is active
Also included hires version of portal texture (1024x1024 dds), by default 512x512 is used.
Ideas and bug reports are welcome

- fixed problems with emitter and colours (see TXT inside)
Two new portals: green (as requested) and black hole look-a-like.

I really love these portals. They all look very nice indeed! I have used them in module play testing and cant stop to think how awsome they are!!
They are now in the CEP 2.3 and 2.4 BUT...
I really think there should be a change here!

could you make a Green one too????
I have been adding the yellow and red ones together and it makes for quite a nice orange texture.
But then I put the blue and yellow ones together and they don't really look like green. :-(
I've been thinking that a portal with a green texture would fit quite nicely with forest textures.
Forest = greenery. At least that's the way I see it.
I'd really love for a future update to have a green portal here!

The portal effect in the 3.1 and the latest release are stunning. I'd like to see a placeable without the stone portal and just the effect - that would be extremely useful, as it could represent a portal or gate being opened up by a spellcaster. The r2 releases could be useful for this, but the aelsia and the 3.1 portal effects are just so beautiful....

Thanks :) It did. I've been trying to find something nice to put in a mod as a portal that doesn't look like somebody droped their dying flashlight on the ground.
