"This" is a collection of custom content that I had created for Neverwinter Nights. It was never released before because the work that is completed was done so on the verge of NWN2. My main focus is on NWN2 content creation right now, but the only thing stopping me from doing other NWN1 stuff is time.
Also, while the majority of the content is my own design, there are elements that belong to someone else. Someone that I could not successfully contact, so elements that relate to that character have been removed. The model is still in the collection, but the textures aren't. I have included texture templates so others can create there own textures, however, so I haven't gimped people too much.
Here's a list of what is available. Please note that all of this works in-game, though not everything is what I would consider "finished."
1) Full body "robe" for human males. I had a distinct vision of what I wanted my monk character to look like, and this is it...sort of. Comes with an inventory icon and the 2DA for robes.
2) Cloth Wrap cloak: The idea here was that a large cloth banner was taken down and is wrapped around a person to make a cloak. Here are the different versions of the wrap:
a) Tattered Wrap with bordering embroidery
b) Tattered Wrap without border
c) Non tattered wrap with border
d) Non-tattered wrap without border
e) Hooded cloak with tattered border
I think the non-tattered borderless version comes for all races and genders. I didn't go through and fix all the clipping issues, but I got quite a few. The others are for human males only.
The hooded cloak has a problem that all cloaks and robes with hoods suffer from (at least those that expose the PC heads). The problem is when you mouse over an object, the game engine rotates the head object of the PC itself, not the head object of the supermodels that supply the animations. The result is that the hood portion of the cloak (or robe) does not move with the head when it tracks an object you have moused over. The hood deforms normally with all other animations (combat, emote, etc).
3) Full body "robe" for elven females only. This is the model based of another's character design. It was a tiefling (whatever the elven-tiefling thingies are called), hence the tail. The 2DA entry for it is included. To get it working, you just need a texture and inventory icon.
4) Custom rapier parts. These are only sized correctly for elven females...my mistake, but they work. They come with their own inventory icons...which are also sized incorrectly. Only the blade portion is visible in the inventory.
5) Custom dagger parts. As with the rapier they are sized for elven females, but the inventory icons should be the correct size.
6) Hair-styles test material. There are a couple of heads and one quickly made hair mesh in here to test the feasibility of doing custom hair-styles. Might want to ignore this as I only just started on it before moving on.
7) Custom heads. Besides the heads for the above hair test, I made a couple of heads for the full body "robes" above. As before, the textures to the character that is not my design has been removed.
Usage Requirements:
No legalese here, just credit me for the initial work if any of this is used. Please use common sense and common courtesy, that's all I ask.
Adore the new cloak model. Thanks for sharing your work.

I compiled the files into a hak and installed it on my module, made the cloak, and equip it on a NPC. Works like a charm. But when I played the module, and equip the cloak, it doesn't appear on my character. Please help...

Wow, it's been awhile since I've touched this stuff, but here it goes...extract the files to your override folder, then fire up the toolset because you will need to create items using the new models. Or you can combine everything into a hak and link it to whatever module you are making (or editing)...then make your items.
The bare-chested model with the baggy trousers are for human males only, and can be found under the robe options, though I can't remember which number. The cloaks are found under the cloaks, and have been labeled appropriately so they can be found in the toolset. Other than that, I've forgotten...sorry 'bout that.

*goggles* Interesting! I didn't even know there were other robes with hoods that weren't attached to the head nodes. Guess you learn something new every day. :o)
Regarding your test without hands, thanks for trying. It *might* work a bit better with Kurairyu's hands (which I just started using recently, and can't believe I didn't use before), as they are a little smaller than the standard Bioware fists, and significantly slimmer at the wrists - but then, equally, it might not work. But could you email me the handless version anyway? (My address is [email protected]) If I ever manage to learn modelling, I might try something with it. :o) _________________________ KotOR Heads FR Deity and Faction Cloaks Fall-from-Grace Soundset
I ended up removing the hands as a test, and as I suspected the default hands are too big to be used. Seriously, they looked like oven-mits, or those ridiculous foam-hand things people wear to sporting events.
There is one thing I forgot to mention about the hooded cloak (I'll edit this into the description as well) and that is when worn the hood does not track with the head when you mouse over objects (people, placeables, etc). The reason is that the game seems to only move the head object used by the player, not the head object used by the supermodels used for animation. This is a problem with all cloaks and robes with hoods that show the players head.

Thanks for replying, whatbrick. I think I know how you feel about not wanting to look at this again for a while - that's my feeling every time I hand up a thesis for college. ;o)
At the same time, I'd like to make a few comments on the points you raise. Firstly, the cloak does actually blend quite well with a few of the other chests - often not the ones you'd expect, but some are better than none. Also, while I did notice that the body of the robe model was slimmer than normal (something NWN sorely needs - unless you use Issig's phenotypes, all men are either fat or incredibly buff!), meaning that you'd have to do a lot of work to segment the whole thing, I think it would probably be quite easy to separate the hands. They tend to be roughly the same size, no matter what you do. ;o)
Honestly, I realise it might be possible (in theory) for me to do this myself, but most of my attempts at using NWMax have failed spectacularly. I can't even seem to import things properly, let alone do anything with them afterwards. ;o) Hence me asking you if you could manage the hands. I don't want to seem ungrateful for what you've already done (which is super) by saying that it would be hard for me to add to your work. I'm just telling the truth like it is. ;o)

1) Correction, the cloaks only fit near-perfectly with the provided full-body mesh. They were literally made for each other and I had no plans to convert it to other races/genders. The cloaks I did convert were done to test the NWMax robe conversion utilities.
2) The monk robe is a slightly leaner build than the default bare-body parts, so anything made to fit them would seem overly large.
3) The purpose of using the robe as a complete body is so nothing would be segmented. I'm not a fan of the segmented body parts.
@Tiggsie
If I did convert the hooded robe to other races/genders it wouldn't be soon. I'm knee deep in some NWN2 work at the moment. I'll see what I can do if I reach my frustration point with my current work.
There's nothing stopping anyone else from making changes, though...feel free with my complete blessings. I tried working on too much at one time and burned myself out after awhile so forgive me if I don't want to look at it again anytime soon. :)

Some lovely work! I like this a lot - especially the layered half-cloak wrap. Well done, and thanks for sharing this with the Vault.
Just a few suggestions:
1) Maybe the cloak clipping could be improved - it doesn't clip very well even with cloth chests, and only looks seamless with bare chested models.
2) It would be nice if the monk robe had separate hands so that it didn't override kurairyu's (incredibly funky) hand hak.
3) It would be even better if the body parts in the monk robe could be further separated - so one could use the boots and gauntlets with other armour parts, for instance. _________________________ KotOR Heads FR Deity and Faction Cloaks Fall-from-Grace Soundset

Some nice stuff in there, if a bit messy. I love the new cloak models, so pretty pretty please, can we have the female and male elven versions of the hooded cloak? :)
3) Full body "robe" for elven females only. This is the model based of another's character design. It was a tiefling (whatever the elven-tiefling thingies are called), hence the tail.
