Here are the results for the "Custom Content Challenge" of August 2010 that took place on Bioware Social Forum here: Link
The theme was: "Imagine the private appartments of a High Priestress/Cleric, and design a usefull piece of decorative furniture that would fit well in there."
And here are the results of the variouses participants!
Thanks to all those who contributed models:
Ben Harrison, wargear set
Estelindis, an altar
JFK/Frith5, a prayer kneeler and book
Jez, a hanger with ceremonial cloak and empty
Morikhan, a rich desk
Six, a shrine
Zwerkules, a swan bathtube
Also thanks a lot to the supporters!
How to use:
These are only models and their textures. To use this you have to include those files in a hak, and add the placeables_lines.2da to your own placeables.2da (Copy paste the lines, and renumber approprietly if the numbers we used are already taken in your own placeables.2da)
Once it's done, open your module in aurora (add the hak if not yet included in the module's custom content list), and then you have to create a blueprint for each of the models. You can find the models under the appearance names starting with "CCC08_2010".
Cheers, and come and join the fun for September challenge here: Link Pirates!
Update: Sept. 19, 2010
- added Zwerkules swan screenshot
- added a ready to use hak, and demo module
- added fixed placeables.2da lines
Update v2: January 6, 2012
- added portraits
- updated Vault description and title
There is a little mistake in the "placeables_lines.2da" in original submission, this one is correct. Just copy paste the lines over the old ones. Sorry for this oversight.
File containing 3 folders. "Files" is what you need to include in your hak. Also contains the .2da lines to add to your own placeables.2da. "TGA Textures" is additionnal TGA's for those who have an old computer. And "Screenshots" well...

Keep this up, please. It pleases me very much to see the modding community for this game alive and well.

If I'm not mistaken, Ben's wargear set is still missing in the demo mod - would be nice to see it included, too. Thanks to all those involved!

Everything released is a blessing, this one is even more so because it shows what an open and friendly community can do. I hope many other people will show up and join the band and create many other things, models or not. NWN is such an awesome moddable toy!

YAY, they're here! I watched the discussion of these creations and have eagerly anticipated the release of this package. Everybody did a great job on this -- we have some delightful new placeables. I find it terribly difficult to choose any one as best of the lot, so I'm glad I don't need to do so. Thank you, one and all.
in an animators point of view im very impressed by the desktops, they have excellent textures... but id have to go with the alter, its quite nice and simple in its design.
