This package contains 44 new visual effects for all weapon types (default weapon types and many CEP weapons). These visual effects are NOT intended for use as an override...they are ADDITIONAL, non-overwriting visuals.
Important: NWNCX (Neverwinter Nights Client Extender) is required on the PLAYERS' side in order for them to see these visual effects.
In order for players to be able to see the visual effects in-game,
your players will need:
- the contents of this hak file
- the current version of NWNCX (Neverwinter Nights Client Extender)
Aug. 9, 2011: Added demonstration module.
Jan. 22, 2012: Added separate iprp_visualfx.2da file for downloading to your NWN/override folder for playing modules that don't use the NWNCX visuals hak. Needed only for installations of NWNCX prior to version 0.2.1.
Add this file to your NWN/override folder if weapon visuals in any modules stop appearing once you start using NWNCX (which is caused by the module not having the proper data that NWNCX is looking for to add weapon visuals).
Works for any modules/servers that do not include an altered/updated iprp_visualfx.2da file in their haks.

I was skeptical about using the client extender at first, but the bypass of the master server check plus these weapon visuals sold me. Never looking back.

Yes, with just some minor hak work.
It contains visuals for many of the CEP weapon types, but no guarantee on all of them. Your hak with the iprp_visualfx.2da file will need to be placed higher in the hak order than the CEP haks (so that it uses the file from this instead of the one that comes with CEP). _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)
