This is a claymore I wanted to make, because I thought that NWN lacked this weapon. Now, I know that this model has far too many polygons, but the purpose of submitting this file is simply to see what you guys think about this model. Later on - if I am encouraged to - I will turn it into a model useable in-game.

Excellent model _________________________ If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

This would be a cool model to have, possibly as a .mdl or three for the override folder. It would also do well in a hak. In the case of the hak, it could be a completely new weapon, possibly similar to the mercurial greatsword from the PnP book Sword and Fist. However, if you were to reduce the poly count, I think you'd have to ditch some of the physical detail on the model (like the pommel or loops on the crossguard) and replace it with texturing, which might be difficult to create and align. However, if this gets made it would make me want to create a brand new fighter just to use it!

Aye, laddie, ya done good. Make it better, an ye'll be golden.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 9.25 then rounded to 9.

Yes, please, make it usable!
This is exactly the weapon I need for my character.
NWN needs a good Claymore.

Very nice work.
Weapon models are one of NWN's weakest points, in my opinion, So we need all the cool looking, shiny weapons (especially swords) that we can get.
Keep it up, I hope you will find time to make a couple of nice longswords while you are at it!

Yse I love that distinctive crosspiece :)
I recently wanted to see a claymore done too. Very very nice. If you made a version to go in nwn I'd certainly use it.
