Conan fans unite! This is the final version of this first installment of the Hyborian Age series. This module will allow you to play a Hyborian Age adventurer, not unlike Conan the Barbarian himself. The story begins in the outskirts of Yezud, in Zamora, and acts as a fine introduction to Robert E. Howard's fantasy world, as you infiltrate the mysterious temple of the spider god, Zath... Custom armor, weapons, and Basil Poledouris' Conan soundtrack all contribute to the immersion of this module, which, admittedly, is a hack fest. But hey, it's Conan! Note that spellcasters are not supported yet. The current magic system just doesn't fit. I will bring casters into part 2, however! NOTE THAT THIS MODULE DOES NOT WORK WITHOUT THE HAKPACK. I thought this was a good hak-n-slash mod. The atmosphere was nice and the music and armor haks really lent a Hyborean feel to it. Think my only complaint was the no penalty for dying, though I can see why it was done. Thanks.

If I remeber correctly the theif will tell you the password then you have to "say" it at the door by typing it in the talk or possibly shout bar and hitting enter to make your character speak. Man, I hope this guy makes some more Conan Mods this one was the best ever!!!!!!!

Module is awesome, easily one of the best I've had the pleasure to play yet, with one fatal exception. I cannot get past the door with the "password". The Door listener who pop up is hostile, and there is no other way to get through. I spoke to the thief, and all that such, but still the door remains impassable. Anyone have ideas on how to get past this? Is it broken for 1.62? I downloaded and played it through both versions available and the same thing happens both times. I was really enjoying the module up until that point.
