New in town, you arrive at an inn and find yourself swept up in a grand adventure. It's a classic style dungeon game. It was developed last September to learn nwscript and I thought I'd see what others think of it. I hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately, just prior to releasing it I accidentally opened and saved it with SOU, so its currently at SOU 1.30. Sorry for any confusion.

Well time for a proper review! :)
WELL DONE is all I can say. Wow, what a different experience from the previous module (posted below)!
I was very impressed by the fact that you pay attention to the size / layout of exterior buildings then transfer that into the interior (door locations, approx size, etc)!
!!SPOILERS BELOW!!
The Inn: I like the Inn, it has a cozy feeling to it, full of patrons, good drink, and unfortunately no food. :( My stomach will never be filled I'm afraid. *stomach rumbles* I like the quest given by the Innkeep, which led to the overall plot of your module, which I won't divulge here. :) I would like to have seen sitting patrons and useable chairs though. The patrons were unique looking (unlike the module review I did below). However, their dialog lacked uniqueness.
The Crossroads: I really liked how you made it seem like a real crossroad stopping place! Not too big, not too small, just right in the villages size and ambiance. The addition of the small farm was nice too. However, when I visited the farm it was late in the evening and the farmer was still tending his fields! LOL No sleep for the weary! I like how you had some items that were found that were actually of use! (Not giving this one away!) :)
Overall: 8.5 out of 10! (Highly recommend this module for a quick, short solo adventure!)

Hail and well met yet again!
IGNORE THE PREVIOUS POST! I got the wrong module! Sorry, I played "The Inn of the Dripping Dagger", not "Crossroads"!
I'll rectify the situation soon and post a PROPER review of "Crossroads"!
Sorry for any confusion! :)

Hail and well met!
Having just recently visited the Inn of the Dripping Dagger, I thought I'd say a few words about it.
First impression is it's a big place! However, in keeping with the fact that there are NO large buildings in NWN except for the City Government buildings, it seems a bit unrealistic to have a 2x2 building outside and walk into such a massive place. I'll forgo comments about walking through a dimesion door or some smart comment like that. :)
Secondly, everyone is a clone of someone else. It is very easy using the toolset to have ONE Human Mercenary for example, and then change that mercenaries appearance giving unique look and even change of clothing / weapons.
The back room had a gridlock of traffic it appears, a bunch of Human Mercenaries bunched up in the corner.
There could have been more dialog. Only two that I found: Bard and the Innkeeper. I couldn't order anything from the Waitresses. And I was hungry too! :) NEEDS dialog with unique options for each person. Again the "clones" said the same things as each other.
On the vault there are scripts for USING placeables such as chairs, benches, etc. Everyone was standing in the place. Now when I get to an Inn, I like to have a seat after a weary days travel. :)
I DID like the menu! Made my stomach grumble, too bad I couldn't order any of it though. :( Also, IMHO the menu ICON should have been the PARCHMENT icon, not a TOME. It was a big menu, but not that big. :)
Overall, with a bit of spit 'n polish, this would be a great meeting place for a group of adventurers. Add some of the above ideas, scale the place down a bit (including upperlevels to match), and you'd have a top notch Inn. :)
Hope my comments help you out, and don't give up modding just because I'm the only one in 4 months that has bothered to post a comment. (SHAME ON FELLOW NWN PLAYERS AND MODDERS!) lol
Peace,

(Yes I know, I went through a dimension door while in Zagyg's dungeon and ended up in Cormyr!) lol
