98% of the monsters are generated by encounter, so higher levels *may* be ok, but bosses will be weak, so you should probably stick with the recommendation.

Description
Your raft broke up after plunging down the strange waterfall. You cannot sail away, and you can't climb up the waterfall, so now you and your party appear to be stuck in this strange valley. Can you help yourself and the others who are stuck here to find a way out of this Land of the Lost?

This module is intended for low level starting characters (i.e. 1-3). It states so clearly in the description. Also, the description says it may be ok for higher levels, and the implication is "probably not".
Most encounters do not respawn (dungeons), but a few do in the outdoor areas for a little wandering/random monster effect.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but try a 1st level charcter and you'll have a lot more fun. Also you'll probably wind up level 10 by the time you finish.

Ok, this is freaking NUTS if you are high level. My Level 20 Ranger is in a bit over his head, I think, even with a Dire Wolf for a familiar.
Also, some plot sections can break if you're too high a level. The Fire Beetles get replaced by Stag Beetles, so you cannot complete your very first quest. This would be great, I think, if you're low level, but at higher levels there gets to be some major issues.
It would have worked better if the author hadn't relied so much on the Encounter function to spawn enemies. Besides just the sheer difficulty and plot issues of it, when you kill an enemy, you want them to STAY DEAD! You don't want a hard area you thought you'd cleared out just minutes before coming back to life. This is especially true in caves and dungeons where there's often only one way out.

few secrect doors in this mod, and there just might be one
up there too...
Oh, and thanks for playing & commenting. Glad someone
besides me and my playtesters had fun!

Thank you so much! This module was a great weekend's
entertainment. Thanks to you, the song, "Marshall, Will,
and Holly, on a routine expedition..." has been running
through what passes for my mind. The quality of detail
was great, as were the variety of encounters. i tried it
at several starting levels, and was pleasantly surprised
when the villians 'Leveled Up' as well. I was most
comfortable at level 8-12, because of the challenge
ratings of some of the earlier encounters. But, great fun
was had at all times.
To the players who've been flummoxed and commented about
not getting past the Sleestack and not finding Chaka,...
SPOILER>>> they're not on the initial map. They are on
one of a few additional maps. To get past the Sleestack
guards, you have to get Enik's Amulet from the body or
treasure of either Grumpy the Goblin (in the show he of
course was a T. Rex,... why a GOBLIN?!) or from the leader
of the Bandit Complex. in any case, there is MUCH more
fun to be had in the areas beyond that gate. ENJOY! I
sure did.

This is a really good MOD,but I'm having trouble with a few
of the quests
1) I can't find Chaka and I looked over the whole map and
he's nowhere to be found.
2) I was told by Marshall to look atop the goblin mountain
to try and find a way out of the valley but there is
nothing up there....only thing I've found up there is a
well,a cage and a keg...ran the mouse over eveything and
nothing.

C'mon folks, pleeeeez!!! 400 downloads and no comments, no
votes? Please vote, good or bad. I'd just like to know
that I didn't waste a month of my life making this module,
and nobody played it.
All I want for Christmas is some feedback.
Thanks!

Just a quick plea here - please vote/rate the module after
you play it! Good or bad, I'd at least like to make it
onto the main module listings. Also, feel free to post any
comments/questions here.
THANKS!
