A very fun and interesting module for a beginning monk!

Fatal error- the grove only had 11 monsters, not 12. I had to save the character and restart all over.
Aside from that, this is just another travel-to-different-elemental-planes-just-to-get-similar-treasures module.
Had this series been completed, the storyline could have been more in depth.
But either the error needs to be fixed, or this module is out of date with the latest NWN patch. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
Possibly the best module for a fresh (0 XP) monk. The challenge is near perfect, the equipment adequate for the next few levels. The XP scale seems OK too.
Too bad there is no sequel. Also I did not finish the tunnel part, I was hoping one could come back and complete the first level.

Really good for prelude, did expect harder challenges in the chambers..Also a quest to go to the lower levels of the caretakier tunnels - disappointment there. One possible bug - at end of day after returning to home, I walked up=stairs to retire for the night - got instant blank screen. Was that supposed to be the end? Also as a courtesy, please include in notes that this will strip items in your pack if using an existing character.

I have to disagree with much of RougeWriter's critisim of this module, although it might be that we have different tastes. I found the fights to be refeshingly challenging, especially because strategy becomes important. For example I played a halfling monk in this module, that allowed me to use hide to pick and choose his battles. I will say that with this module saving early and often is very advisable though.
His comment about the "useless" equipment sort of surprised me. I played through Shadows of Undrentide with my post-"Legends" halfling monk and the equipment served him well. The robes are good, general purpose, low to mid level monk "armor" I never took them off throughout SoUt. The gloves were also very useful. I mostly used the Way of the Guardian for the extra AC and damage, then switched to other for certain situations. The regeneration on the Way of Darkness also helped reduce his downtime. Oh yeah, the acid stones can be sold in other modules, if recall correctly 1-2 gold per stone.
In addition Legend of the Faded Moon has a great atmosphere throughout the module, and I like the way the master-student dynamic was portrayed. I won't say this module is for everyone, but if you are looking for a challenging and engaging few hours you should try it.
I was looking forward the next installment, but it looks like it probably won't happen...
