I based this module on Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Return of the King. It's my first attempt at creating a module, so please be nice :P Update changes: added cutscene and removed access to Isengard for cutscene purposes. This is my final version unless there are enough complaints or requests for a particular change.
Too many (design) flaws to make it worth it. To name a few: Areas too big, choice of tileset, module level, lower level (lvl 10 or even 5) should work equaly if not better.

Well, if you are having touble scripting there are scripting generators which can help people who cannot script as well as others, so just look one up.. You can make gandalf dissapear with a visual effect and all sorts of things, it will make it alot easier for you.

Decent mod. I've had fun with it. It's challenging if you're looking to play on your own and it's good for those who like fighting non-stop. However, I think the transitions need a little more work. When I climbed Denethor's tower, I ended up in the burnt down version of Gondor and I was already in the middle of the battle for Gondor, when instead, I should be heading for Mordor to assist Faramir. Didn't know what was happening at first, but as I played it right through, I realise it was one of the scenes where Gondor was in the middle of a siege. Overall not bad. However, I can't seem to finish the mod. I've reached Minas Tirith: Gondor under siege and hacked my way through a whole army of Orcs (well, several orcs, really :) But as you say, each orc represents a small army, so it's an army). I've pretty much destroyed them all, bar the ones that respawn, but when I talked to Faramir, he doesn't say anything and all Theodon does is talk about repaying your efforts at Helm's Deep. Into the city itself, no-one talks to you and none of the doors lead anywhere. Unless it's one small thing I've missed, but as you have been using markers to denote different buildings in your map, it's unlikely I would miss anything important. So how should I move on from that part and (speculating) enter the final battle against Isengard?? Any help would be appreciated. From anyone.

what haks do i need for this module?

Some spoilers below:
Hello there. I have some critizism about your first module and before I begin, I applaud you on your first module. Even though it may not be the best, it still good for your first try. No one builds a "lone wolf" or "Elegia Eternum" on their first try (those are really good modules). First off, I cannot finish your module. There seems to be an area transition bug where you can get INTO Theoden's Hall, but you cannot get OUT of the hall. A bug perhaps? You should fix that. Your areas could have been better too. Instead of using the "rural" tileset for Fangorn forest, you could've used the forest, then fooled around with the visual for a bit, making a magical look perhaps. And more scripting could've been nice. Like, gandalf just doesn't stand there, he could've actually popped out of nowhere and started talking to you. Well, that's all I have since I'm stuck in Theoden's hall. Good luck on your mods to come.

Hmm.. Why do you must try to copy tolkien.. peter succeeded but these modules.. well.. i think that nwn is not suitable to create tolkiens world without hundreds of hakpacks..

If anyone is looking for another Middle-Earth Module, I have one listed as Quenta Silmarillion. It's the first part of a series that tries to cover the Silmarillion, Tolkien's life work.

I wouldn't know how to fix it since I haven't edited the haks.

I've updated my module to what should be the final version. Please post your comments and concerns. I'd like to know just how bad my module is :)

Oops.. sorry if anyone downloaded this since I updated. I updated instances on Theoden, causing the hornburg keep Theoden to use the wrong conversation :P I fixed it now.

OK. I fixed the waypoint problem in the Westfold and Minas Tirith. There are no other bugs that I'm aware of, so if anyone finds something disturbing or annoying, let me know.

There's a couple of bugs I need to fix for my next version. I need to place triggers that causes NPCs on waypoints to spawn, so that they aren't finished on their waypoints as soon as you enter an area. There's a couple areas where this is a problem, and it ends up leaving you to fight an entire army yourself without NPC help :P I also need to fix Gandalf so that he gates out after finishing his conversation, but I need to find that script first.
