I created this module as a quick temporary fix to the broken male romance. I tried to give the fix a little bit of a cover based on the world of the game rather that just having it say 'Bioware screwed up. Here's how you can fix it.' Hopefully Bioware will fix this problem soon. Instructions: 1. Place the file in your modules directory. 2. Play NWN until you begin Chapter 3 or 4. 3. Hit Esc, then hit the Save Character Button. 4. Exit to the Main Menu, click New and choose other Modules. 5. Click 'Male Romance Fix.' 6. Once done in the module, make sure to hit Esc and hit Save Character again. 7. Go back to the Main Menu, click New, and choose whichever Chapter you left off on. 8. Enjoy the romance! ~~Giolon

really? it never deleted by amulet, not sure about the ring though I haven't tested.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 5 that made this score of 8.80.

When I went through the game the frist time, I wondered why the ring disappeared in the 3rd chapter, I was like +blocked+ where the hell is that ring, I went through all my equipment like 3 times, and thats a lot of clicking, because I am a packrat in that game. I also looked in the Tyr's Pool, and I could not find it, so i was like okay screw it. Thanks for fixing the problem, Lok grants you many thanks.

I didn't even know there was a romance option in the original game. You'd think they'd make something like that a little more obvious like they did in bauldur's gate. Who can you have a romance with? How and when does it begin? I'm playing a female PC by the way.

Thank you all for the feedback! In the latest NWN patch
(1.19), Bioware has thankfully fixed this problem so new
players will no longer need this fix. However, if you are
still in Chapter 2 (after entering Luskan) and don't feel
like starting over, you will still need my module to fix
your problem. You can just use it when starting Chapter
3. Good luck people!

Thanks for the heads-up and the solution methodology. By
using the toolset to export custom chapter 2 items to ERF
files, I created a similar module myself that allows the
recovery of this ring, Aarin's Amulet, or the Ring of the
First Circle (I'm pretty sure I lost this as well).

Aristotle: This fix is for male characters to be used
after completion of Chapter 2. And yes, there is only one
romance option.
Wazoo: The game screws up when you enter Luskan. The
enter script mistakenly deletes the ring (or Aarin's
amulet for female characters) from your inventory! Also,
the module shouldn't give you a ring if you already have
one? I tested it and it worked correctly for me. Let me
know if it's not for you, and I'll look into it.

When you say "Male Romance", does that mean a romance for
male characters, or do you mean a romance where your female
characters has a relationship with a male NPC.
And you say Romance singular... Is there only one romance
option?

Hmmz, I wonder how they screwed up. Since I got the ring
when listening to her tale, and her saying it was given to
her from her father.
On the ring info it says that it should be in the
inventory since its needed, to continue her story in the
other chapters.
Anyway I tried your mod, and now I have 2 rings. Does it
fix anything else?
