Roleplaying module, be careful as decisions you make *can* affect your alignment.
Description
The Town of Byrn is located in the Westlands of Uteria. It is nestled between the South Woods and the Vale. Home to mainly humans, some halflings have migrated from the Vale to here starting up farms in the nearby fields. You find yourself in the Mayor's office checking on a job for adventurer's. It seems that some farmers in the western side of Byrn have been disappearing lately and the mayor is looking to hire some you to check into it. Uses HCR Ruleset 1.8.5. 12/1/02 - Added Single Player version with tweaked down Hardcore Rules.12/16/02 - Added some minor quest fixes, added Quest Journal Entries, added some conversations and tweaked some encounters.

Having experienced Kad's world of Uteria in his Multiplay
DM'd mods, as well as in PnP, I really enjoyed this module.
The town of Byrn was used heavily in Kad's PnP campaign, so
seeing it spring to life in NWN was a real treat. The HCR
is always a welcome addition, to any mod.

Hmmm,
HCR? I kind of like it yet it makes me all shuddery inside,
in a good way though, challenges are good sometimes
especially in a case like NWN where things never seem to be
challenging enough. Well, I plan on seeing what this module
is about and if I ever figure out this damnable scripting
stuff I plan on making a HCR module I'll likely call
Memoir's of a Mercenary (roleplaying + lot's of hack n'
slash, what a combo... hopefully)
toodles.

Yeah, I think the only way to go is to go HCR. Though I am
looking into creating a NPC in the Fugue plane to do
Ressurections for Single Player.
BTW, is this the Velmar that does all that really good
custom content? If so, I really enjoy your stuff and am
planning on adding some of it to my future modules.

I'm so glad someone still builds HCR modules.
There are far too few of them for my taste.
Will test it as soon as I have some playtime.
