Your travels are taking you North. One night, going through a forest, you start hearing wolf howls, and they are getting closer. Maybe they are hungry. Or maybe its much worse. A short adventure for new characters (level 1). NOTES: Starting equipment will be deleted. Respawn NOT allowed, so SAVE OFTEN. NOT designed for spellcasters. Recommended classes: Fighter/Barbarian/Ranger/Paladin/Monk

Tried this with a monk and had to quit early on due to combat diffivulty. This time I had a barbarian and the whole thing went a lot more smoothly.
Fighters/paladins will ahve the easiest time.
Monks may have a hard time.

Short and sweet.
A nice diversion for running a character to level 2.

I have to disagree with kingharbromm, the story looks quite good but the game balance is terrible. You quickly fall into the die-reload well making the game far from enjoyable. Fighters will probably have a good time here but not monks. The module would be probably more playable without the resting restrictions. Once a level is cleared of enemies it should be possible to rest and regain spells (Laura need that). I found that one could only rest in one area early on.

This is a solid starter module, but needs to be continued.

awesome module man, sad it was too short
there are a couple of mispelling/typos (SPOILERS) - 1. When you first reach the house in the forest, when you go to the wolves further past the house in the message above your head. 2. When you meet the witch for the last time, the dialogue doesnt have any mispellings but it does sound wierd.Remember, when things go bad, run away.

i really liked this mod, much better than most of the poop you find on nwvault. just wish it was longer or had more replayability.

I thought this was an amazing beginning module. I've played several modules that are described for 1st level characters only to find out the creators overestimate a 1st level PC's abilities.
I highly recommend this for anyone starting a new character. It gets them off the ground and on their way without subjecting them to perils out of their league. The story is good, too!
Well done!

An enjoyable first level romp. And thankfully, unlike almost every other low level mod, not a goblin in sight.
